But IDK my husband has taurus rising with sun in libra and a strong 6th house presence and I keep telling him he would be a great massage therapist as he has the hands for it and gives good massages but won't do it for more than 5 minutes so you have to be able to do it for an hour to two hours, I guess that is were the Capricorn discipline is helpful or the hard working spirit of virgo. He loves cracking backs and giving back rubs though, to dogs too. ^^Taurus rising, venus in LEO: LEO Rules the back I believe.
The above made me think up a joke of sorts (ok, it's not that good). What do you call a person who gives you a massage for 5 minutes, but charges like they gave you a massage for 2 hrs? A Chiropractor, or a maladjusted Capricorn (or perhaps more specifically a maladjusted Capricorn Chiropractor?). Yes, Leo rules back and heart. IP: Logged |

Dumuzi, I will get back to you tomorrow. My response requires some definite thought and perhaps some in depth holism (groan, here he goes again with his "holism" and long winded replies). IP: Logged |

You speak the true, true Dumuzi, one can still hug folks on drugs, and in my experience, doing so on E is quite nice. Glad to hear you're still laying off the hard drugs, though personally speaking, I would put alcohol somewhat in the category of hard substances. Definitely hard on the body once past a buzz. That's cool that you sing and play. Now that I think of it, I vaguely remember you talking about it before. Do you write original stuff at all? Don't suppose you ever share it with semi random astro forum acquaintances? Anyways, as regarding the rest, I understand where you are coming from. For self, I guess my issue with substances is the potential, general issue of attachment. There is a part of me that is a natural Buddhist in that regard--I just don't like being over attached to anything. One of the most difficult aspects of that connection with the woman I have talked about here, is how over attached to her and the situation that I've been. That has upset me just as much as the rejection, her callousness towards me, etc. I'm just not used to it at all. I'm fairly Aqua Venus and Pisces SN most of the time. Interesting about the occult and weird stuff. Too bad there is not a p.m. system here (though, in some respects, probably for the best). Well anyways, happy holidays and all that jazz. Hope you can get some good, restful sleep. IP: Logged |

Home alone for Christmas. Kids will stay with me again on Sunday and I have a special roast chicken dinner planned. No gifts though. In my country we give gifts early December during a holiday called “Sinterklaas”. I bought myself an e-reader and I have been downloading free books from the Gutenberg project. I guess that’s more my Virgo Moon than my Taurus Sun. IP: Logged |

You and me both, though I suppose technically, one or two of my housemates/tenants might be here part of the time, but I don't interact a whole lot with them. (Though, did go out to karaoke Thursday night with one housemate. But he's very much an escapist Pisces where he likes to drink and get high a lot--not really my "jam"). Anyways, hugs to you PlutoWasHere.

Thanks GCE! I’m sending some hugs right back to you! I like spending time alone, but it does feel weird without the kids. I’m going to visit them today for some extra hugs anyway. And of course my cats are keeping me company. They’re two very loving balls of floof that have the uncanny ability to always be in my way when I am trying to get something done. @hypatia, Sinterklaas is the Dutch holiday of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors, merchants and children. The Netherlands is a country that has become very rich by overseas traveling and trading (and of course also thanks to some very nasty colonial business). In our golden age, roughly the 1600s, it became a tradition for sailors to celebrate Saint Nicholas with gifts for their children in honor for keeping them safe on their overseas travels. Its interesting you like black candles, I saw some today on Etsy actually Your observation around you feeling it helps you sleep is interesting, will keep it in mind.I think is funny you guys like to see your mother's reaction, troll her a little but I know it comes from a place of love. My mother just reminded me that in my culture we keep giving each other gifts until January 6th bc we celebrate the three kings as well.
For sleep, I feel like black candle works better than purple. Last night I was spiraling and getting rather irrational. To the point where I am like “that’s it I’m lighting a candle.” Decided to give the black one a go! I could barely stay awake. Lol I’m the negativity and the candle told me to go to sleep! My mom had a look of judgement seeing me bring the black candle down for my bath. That is a neat tradition! I’ve never heard of that!

My fellow Gemini rising bestie got me a yellow quarts wand(?) and a jade turtle. And I gem tree. And I think a few black tourmalines. And a mini bag of rocks. I knew I could ask him for this since he’s been into meditation and tantra since Uranus entered Taurus and is in his 12th house. I got him bed sheets for his guest bedroom he finally set up.

My dad bought me a new mouse for my gaming computer, because mine is three years old, and kept mucking around. I've just set it up, and it moves so fast, it's going to be a bit of an adjustment. It's wireless, so it won't get wrapped in everything, like the other one.IP: Logged |

A Capricorn Mars sister, gets her little 10th house Mars sister a Passion Planner for Christmas! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfUq8ez1rr8 Super fitting right! It's almost hilarious. Luckily I got one where I can start it at anytime, any year. In my late 20's I got a lot of planners as xmas gifts! I had a lot of Capricorn and 10th house stuff going on around that time too. I really want to pick it up from the condo today. IP: Logged |
