Have been doing this astro thing for a long time, and I still have not seen any strong, repeating patterns in relationships with any particular Sun Sign combinations.

And yet, when it comes to Signs, our Sun Sign tends to be one of the most highlighted/indicative Signs in our chart i.e. pretty important in how we relate to, interact with, and connect to others since it is a good sized chunk of our overall psyche (though I would argue that our strongest Planet is usually a larger and brighter chunk).

The pattern so far, seems to be near as random as can be. I don't see same Signs, opposite Signs, trined Signs, squared Signs, inconjunct Signs, Signs right before or after, as being any more prominent of a connection. Maybe if an extremely exhaustive research study was done, one might be able to find some pattern or patterns amongst the statistical noise, but I personally haven't seen it and I look for such patterns.

What I DO see plenty of though, in close relationships, is Sun same or opposite Sign of the partner's Moon, Asc, Venus, and Asc or Desc ruler(s). This is what I was eluding to earlier in saying that different symbols to different symbols seem to have far greater sensitivity to each other than same symbols to same symbols.

If you look back at my OP, I said romantic and/or sexual attraction. Venus is about love & romance, not friendship alone. That is a FACT. 💯 I never said that it was the most important indicator of Passion. So there's no need in hijacking my post to make this a teachable moment to newbies.

I also primarily asked to hear from Scorpio Venuses themselves. And you are Aqua Venus. Correct?

Yes, we agree on a number of things, but the point of my replies and why I got involved to begin with, is because we do have a fundamental disagreement about Venus's nature as being connected to sexual/lust type attraction.

In and of herself, and ESPECIALLY comparing Venus to Venus, Venus doesn't connect directly at all to sexual/lust type reactions.

For someone that has Venus, ruler of their chart, in Scorpio (a highly sexual sign), with Scorpio Pluto Rising/in 1st, strong Aries, Cancer Moon, etc, such a person is likely to have a very highly sexual attunement, and since Venus is connected to sexual energy for them personally (via strong attunement to Scorpio), they might think or perceive that Venus relates to that in a direct sense because of their experience, but that would actually be a subjective bias.

But no, Venus is NOT directly, universally a sexual/lust oriented symbol whatsoever, and as mentioned previously, being literally the polar opposite of Mars, Pluto, Scorpio, and Aries, she is actually anti-lust--just as her vibratory color pattern--emerald green to cyan is the opposite of Mars red energy.

We have a female member here who is very attuned to Venus, with Libra Rising with their chart ruler, Venus, in Taurus, and this person is literally asexual.

This post isn't about MY chart or MY perspective. And it was never about YOURS as an Aqua Venus. But if that rant made you feel better - wonderful. 🙂
