But Im very fond of capricorn Venus's too, there’s this loyalty and security to them that I feel like is so soothing for the more paranoid tendencies of scorpio/pluto. And there’s this reserve to them too, I really enjoy the hardworking quality like your building each other up I love that feeling like theyr in it for the long haul and think about u in their future.

Another venus I’m fond of are pisces venus, and pisces placements in general and Neptune is a planet/sign I seem to attract or drawn to as well, the level of emotional intensity can be understood and theyr easy going nature and just that artistic, unconditionally loving quality is really lovely combo.
The only thing is I feel like pluto can be so dominating naturally that it can kind of steamroll over the very sensitive Neptune/pisces placements and the nebulous and vague quality can be a bit messy when it comes to Scorpios/Pluto’s hyper vigilance to psychoanalyze everything lol. So in order for this combo to be at its best I think the maturity level for both partners is important too but I mean that can be said on any placements really.

As far as all the other water/earth combos, the cancer venus’s I’ve met seem to be gemini suns and it just doesn’t really work out in a serious way but I’ve def flirted and had fun with some, and I’ve never really dated anyone with Taurus venus I think? The one time I did like a very taurusy Taurus lol who had his venus in Taurus, he was very confusing to me because I could tell me liked me but he was also like soo fricking slow to make up his mind, idk. I feel like leo sun wit virgo venus could be a nice combination though but I’ve also never really dated a virgo venus.

The squares to Aquarius and leo are interesting because there’s this draw and attraction but honestly I just don’t know if it’s date worthy for me, def as friends it works, but fixed tension has a different kind of pressure especially because it involves my pluto.
Although if I where to side with one I do enjoy Aquarius energy in relationships, and have had really great relationships with Aquarius venus, especially one guy I dated who had his aqua venus in the 8th house.

I would say:

Virgo Venus or Capricorn Venus. These earthy elements would help provide grounding to the water element of Scorpio Venus.

Trines like Pisces Venus & Cancer Venus are nice but could be too sappy to really deal with a Scorpio Venus. My theory is that water elements need a container, and earthy sides provide that.

She represents the giving and relating part of relationships and Mars the taking and expecting. However, Venus is not purely altruistic and unconditional love either, as she expects something in return.

Generally speaking in synastry, looking at different symbols to different symbols, tends to be more illustrative than looking at same symbols to same symbols. It seems like in synastry, the symbols are more "sensitive" to contacts from other, different symbols. That doesn't mean the former doesn't have any importance, because it does have some, but you see more what kind and level of attraction is involved when looking at different symbols to different symbols.

I think it was in Ami Anne's blog a long time ago that Gemini's are attracted to Aries and Scorpios like bees to honey.

So first serious relationship out of highschool. A Gemini Sun was interested in me(Aries) but was still wondering where his fling with Scorpio girl was going.

The guy I had a two year fling with was a Scorpio ASC and I'm a Gemini ASC.

Unless the person with strong Scorpio has other, more strong attraction based connections to the person with strong Gemini, they will likely tend to be more "meh" or take it or leave it about the connection, while Gemini will tend to be more intensely attracted to the person with strong Scorpio.

But really it of course depends on the whole synastry and what is going on, especially in a more repeating pattern type way.

I've known a few Scorpio Venuses who've been drawn to Aqua Venus. From what they shared with me, they enjoyed each other and wanted it to last. But the Aqua wasn't giving them the depth they desired, so it didn't work out in the end. I could picture this with Gemini as well.

Sour OR Sweet with Taurus Venus is spot on. 💯 As we are their opposite, so it can go either way! In my personal experience, Scorpio Venuses adore us and vice versa once we really get to know each other. I slept on them for a long time!! But turns out... we often have real chemistry together. I don't rush them to open up, therefore... they naturally tell me their secrets. I'm very loyal & reliable and that puts them more at ease. They usually are very drawn to my sensual nature and I'm equally drawn to their sexual intensity -- it's like we're f**king each other WITHOUT even f**king. 🔥

I don't agree.

The animal magnetism & sexual attraction between Scorpio Venus & Taurus Venus is very REAL. 🔥 On both sides - we rarely see each other as "just friends" unless somebody is ugly. Lol. I've even done polls in several groups and in ALL of them Scorpio Venus ranked Taurus Venus as their #1 choice for mates! They also really loved the idea of dating other Scorpio Venuses. And potentially Cap Venus.

So there is some something to this. 💯 Venus is our Love Style... not simply shared love of art.

I also have deep attraction to other Taurus Venuses. Virgo Venus is one of the ONLY placements of Virgo that I can stand for long periods of time. 😂 I haven't dated Cap Venus much but I'm sure it could work out if we got together.

But everything else being equal and neutral, Venus to Venus in and of itself is not lust oriented.

You can't rewrite basic astro principles. At least in Western based/type astrology, Venus has never been associated with straight up lust, but more attraction in the general "wavelength" sense. More of a "I like you because we vibe" type thing than a Mars, "your body has the right genetics, hormone levels, health levels, or what not for my body, and I WANT to procreate with you."

Heck, in that sense, the Moon is actually more sexual and lust oriented than Venus, because the Moon relates more to hormones--just more so the the female hormones and expression.

This is why Moon-Mars contacts are particularly potent in a lust and sexual oriented way, because these both correspond to these more primitive, purely physical type reactions, but matching a more Yin-feminine one to a more Yang-masculine one. This is not to say that men can't experience the Lunar part and females can experience the more Mars part--course they can. Some women for example, have higher T levels than average, and some men have lower T levels than average.

​Issue is that overall attraction has many levels and sides to it, and so it is a complex subject that really takes a more whole chart and holistic synthesis approach than looking at single placements.

​But we can't just switch up Venus for Mars, 5th, 8th, Pluto, Leo, Scorpio, Aries, and Moon (the primary or most sexual/lust oriented symbols).

Venus, unlike the symbols above, has NO fundamental red energy in it--in fact, it is literally the opposite of red energy in its emerald green to cyan--it is a "heart" or rather thymus gland/4th Center energy.

I'm not arguing that Venus in Scorpio lacks attraction to Taurus Venus or vice versa--not at all, and indeed, opposite Signs do tend to have the most intense mutual attraction to each other (inconjunct connections can indicate very intense attraction too, but often more one sided all things being equal). However, it is not purely or even strongly sex/lust based unless there is other stuff going on. One can argue that Scorpio in particular has a hard time separating overall attraction from lust and sexual energy, but that is another nuanced/relative discussion.

I'm being "stubborn" about this, not to be a personal PITA to you or anyone on this thread, but because these basic principles of astrology need to be defended and clearly delineated for newbies, and there is a lot of biased, subjective information out there that really muddies the waters of astrological perception.

These are basics, 101's, Venus is not sexual/lust oriented in and of and by herself. It's like trying to say that Mercury represents the higher mind, or Neptune the left brain logical mind, or any kind of opposite switch'a'roo. Venus's polar opposites are Mars, then Aries and Scorpio to a lesser extent, which all have RED energy strongly involved in their archetypal pattern. RED energy is sexual/lust energy.

Polar opposites literally mean, you can't get any further away from that expression. Or take 1st House (self) vs 7th House (others/closer-more affecting relationships). Or Aries (self developing/focus) vs Libra (focusing on relating, interconnection, relationships, and balance through same). Its like very hot vs very cold. You just can't substitute them for one another, even though there is a connection between them.
