He found a dead cat, which I guess had been hit by a car, and it was identical to his own cat, even with the same collar. He was convinced his cat had died. But then later he discovered it was a different, identical cat and his was alive. He took the dead cat to its owner, a man, who cried. This was very traumatizing for my friend, who is a sensitive and compassionate soul.

The 6th house rules pets, so that is the connection I'm making. Of course, Mercury Rx and Uranus are involved here. The square from Saturn was loosely conjunct his Pholus.

Does your friend have any illness or had any checkups recently to check his health?

Also did anything new happen with anyone in his immediate circle/family/friends within the last 5 months? (new relationship/new purchase, divorce, moving, adoption). Any recent change at all?

Amoranthaniela, I believe he did have a checkup recently. He said there was something suspicious in his blood work but he is also prone to catastrophizing. As far as the past five months, yes, I’d say there were major changes with family and people close to him. He just put his house on the market.

Why do you ask???

I feel like something worse happens with COVID whenever Mercury goes retrograde.

All mandates being lifted, including on airlines = covid coming back. I remember New York cancelling things themselves, when it was surging again in December.

The new moon was in Gemini yesterday, and my weekend wasn't bad. I think I'm in the wrong thread for that, though. It wasn't an eclipse. I've been resting, but also getting organized, and meal-prepping. It's too hot to be outside, unfortunately, and the hose and its tap are broken - it's always something - so I can't be working in the garden, or even
reading out there, right now.

Maybe I've refreshed the order page once too often, but I'm waiting for something to be delivered from Amazon, and I've just seen this:

Please give drivers at least 6 feet of space to safely complete your delivery.

Because the event you described is standard for a dramatic reality-shift.

It's like a "incoming new phase" indicator.

During these big transition phases in our life, which we all have, we can be in a vulnerable place (think of the vulnerability during a new birth, so to speak), which can make it easier for something "negative" to affect us.

it's best this friend do everything possible to protect himself during this time. Also I think there's someone in his life, close to him, or close to a family member who is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I ended up spending the full moon day packing for when I cat sit for my sister's. I lit an ivory candle. And took a lavender bud sachet from out of my suitcase and put it underneath my pillow.

I'm kind of nervous that I ordered a bridesmaid dress online during this retro.

Getting out of work has been awful since the school I work at is at a one lane road, and the construction on other roads has made it so congested. The cops told us no left turns after an accident at the beginning of mercury retro.

For some reason I am getting receipts to my maiden name email when ever my husband get's fried chicken at this place in a different state.
