(in Shadbala ratings) It depends on where the aspect is in the chart and what the strength of the planets are. People with strong fire planets will be more outward, confident, and assertive. People with weaker fire planets will be less outward even without an aspect like Moon-Saturn. ------------------

I feel like Mercury in Pisces would make someone very prone to shyness. Maybe even Mercury in any water sign, honestly. I have Mercury in Pisces (11h) + Sun in Aries (11h) so you'd think I would be quite extroverted but I'm actually quite shy. (* I use Koch, but in whole signs, my Aries Sun is technically 12h, which I will also add can be a factor contributing to shyness—having the sun in the 12th!) IP: Logged |

And quite a bit going on in the 5th house. Virgo and even capricorn can be very shy but other aspects, like you said, can override even the shyest placements. In the case of my youngest, I really don't know what causes his shyness. Maybe it's just his age right now and he'll grow out of it. IP: Logged |

Just on a side not, I don't want to hijack this post. His Neptune makes no contacts with any other planet. Not even in declinations. I think that's why he's a musical savant. He listens to any song and can then play it on various instruments, even if he's never had lessons. He's most gifted on the piano and guitars. Neptune is free of any planetary hindrances, it's no surprise to me how it's positive manifestations are free to express itself fully in the 5th house. IP: Logged | |
