She raised her son to be waited on hand and foot, by her and his sisters. He's a good guy, but she once came home with a $750 skateboard, I think it was that much, even though she always had trouble paying her rent, and didn't buy proper food for her kids.

Both of my parents could spoil both of us, and my dad still does when he thinks he can afford to, but I was also taught to look after myself. To feed myself, to do laundry, to cook and clean, to help. All of that, and more. I was a good student, most of the time. I like the feeling of earning things. I also like gifts, but can feel a lot of guilt if any of them were expensive.

teasel, I'm sorry about your aunt being that way. I had a similar one. My dad's sister, she was a chronic user of other's she treated badly too.
I wonder if your second house might interweave with your aunt? My aunt's Sun was Capricorn. That's my house2. It really plagued me against many other Capricorn ppl growing up. They each kind of behaved just like her.

You learned values and know how "things" can be acquired and how meaningful your energy is in doing what was needed to get your values met.. your aunt may have had a bad tendency where she treated you as such due to how afflicted her "2nd house" may have been?

Mars/Venus are in mutual reception. So as much as Venus influences your midpoint. So does Mars. Thats where the temper as well as the comfortability in expressing masculine traits stems from.

In transit, one will affect the other indirectly. So in your Asc in Gem chart, the 11/5th as well as the 12/6th are joined by the reception influence.

With Sat opp Dsc and Plu conj Dsc, you don't play games in love. You don't do "flings". And you can wait for the "right" one instead of passing the time with those "less than".

I would also add that Sat on your Asc and Pluto opposing it, would intensify the stern and/or stiff outer appearance. Sat is cold, fem energy that can come across very "matter of fact". Whilst Plu can add a lot of focus on that energy.

Sat is not the same energy as Mars, but it can come across "butch" too in females. Because you seem like someone who can hold their own and is very "no bullsh**".

During the late 90's up to the 2000's, there was this cartoon called "Daria" . Google it to see if you can find some episodes. To me, she exemplified the Sat/Asc energy on women as many times she comes across quite "no bullsh**".

So the fem Moon energy (representing women, femininity and softness generally) is the antithetical archetype of Sat energy. Its no wonder this energy would appeal to you. Sat-Moon people are often drawn together a lot for commitment.

Perhaps it will manifest as being drawn to women with big breasts? Wide hips? A certain level of "roundedness" about them? Maybe even a plump round face? But there will be Cancerian/ domestic traits found in them or a certain "nurturing" quality that is pronounced- As the Moon may be magnetic & mysterious. But it is also gentle and soothing.

I responded to you in your thread, but I was just thinking that, whilst I do love presents (if the person giving can afford it), I always feel like I don’t deserve it. I also hate it when people buy me something, instead of admitting they were wrong, or instead of having my back in a situation. I loathe it. Whenever I see the gift, I will think about what it really represents.

For that reason, I never understood why women with cheating spouse, for example, would accept an expensive piece of jewellery as an apology for someone cheating. I guess they’re hitting them in the wallet, but I would never be able to wear it.

Thank you so much Aries23Degrees, that sounds spot on for me. What you said about Mars-Venus in mutual reception and Saturn on my ascendant especially rings true. I don't do flings at all, and I am a very no-frills and no-bulls*** kind of person. When people have been around me a while before talking to me, they usually tell me I'm not what they expected. That they saw me as very serious and intimidating, but I'm actually very lighthearted and playful. I just have that appearance.
