I have Mars in Libra. I notice that I tend to feel more energized when working together with someone (like in some kind of partnership). It can be more than 1 person, but we have to gel.I noticed this because I am part of team of people in an organization where we are each required to assist each other. Most notably, there is one team member that I am close to (Pis Sun). And we call each other often about what is going on in the organization and lend each other a lot of support. Today, he was very stressed. So I offered to collaborate with him on the project that he was busy with. And already, I felt energized in lending my hand. On the other hand (pun intended lol), when I feel stressed. He is also there to say "I can help you with A...B...C" etc. Which greatly helps to make me feel a lot better about accomplishing a given task etc. I think Mars in Libra works very well in a partnership situation where they lend support or are the complementary element. In relationships, I try to do this. I try to be the supportive back-up for my partner and expect this to be reciprocated. The word "partnership" is taken seriously by me. You will not walk the road alone. Not with me as your partner. No way in this world. With Mars in Aries though, it's different. Mars in Aries shines when following their own whims and instinct. The inclusion of another (by contrast) serves to only distract and/or frustrate them. Many can be loners at their core- preferring to do things on their own. And this is not always conscious to them. But with air Mars in particular, I notice that this theme of "partnership" is something common amongst the people I know. Mars in Gemini feels at their best when sparring with someone who can catch their intellectual drift and throw it back. They like the back/forth of wordplay and "inside jokes" between them and the other. Mars in Aqua usually shows up in groups or related situations i.e., a rugby team, soccer team, swimming team etc. Their efforts towards "team spirit" typically make them popular in the group and may even earn them "Captaincy". Even the more quiet and shy ones may be team leaders or group connectors in private i.e., online or in some underground clubs they join etc. The saying "Safety in numbers" may have been coined by a Moon in Aqua. But " Strength in numbers" is Aqua Mars for me. Where is your Mars? And what gives you the ability to feel "able"? IP: Logged |

tropical cancer mars conjunct ascendenthard to say what exactly since i always feel “able”, capable, a good sport. this mode basically defines me, though what i “do” depends on my mood or “gut” instinct i am very in tune with my body (physiology, senses, intuition) and adjust action as necessary. for example, yesterday i absolutely knew i *needed* to add chilis seeds with dinner (craving) to counteract a sluggish afternoon (digestion) and naturally this morning i woke up to spend some serious time on the toilet (emptying all that BS) i feel great! insecurity tends to be the only obstacle, which with discernment i can throw to the wind IP: Logged |

I’m also a Cancer Mars but conjunct Saturn in H10 and ruled by my Virgo Moon. My perfectionism can be crippling. My feelings of responsibility will get me started but there usually is a sense of dread before that. It helps me if I know my efforts are appreciated. I don’t like being taken for granted, though I feel it happens a lot. There is just too much unseen labor. It’s frustrating.IP: Logged |

10th house Virgo Mars, trine Moon. At work I love being part of a team, and feel most able with a partner. I usually take a leadership role, but I like being part of a pack. I am a true Virgo Mars in the sense I love doing things "for" another. Someone needs help? I am in. That someone can be a person, a cause, a place... but I do feel most able when the end result is me contributing to some other greater good.Ability is tied into knowledge too(Virgo ruled by Mercury, so do I feel solid that I know how to do the task). But mostly I like to have someone I am doing it for- example- I used to cook very elaborate, beautiful meals for my kids when they were growing up. Everything from scratch, garden out back. Now that they are older, half out of the house, and always busy... I barely cook. I make food, I eat food. But it's very direct and to the point. Steam veggies and cook meat? Check. Plate? Check. Fork? Check. Done. IP: Logged |

Yeah, having Mars in the 1st house can have the default mode of being "ready for anything". This since Mars here will energize you. Mine is in the 7th house of partnerships- thereby emphasizing that that much more. Now when you spoke of "mood" and "gut", that sounded more Cancer to me. The Moon(ruler of Cancer) is associated with the "gut" area of our body- Right around the stomach area (also Cancer associated). Now when it comes to "mood" & being physiologically aware of your body? I would say that that would be Cancer Ascending. These people(barring Saturn or Uranus angular aspects) can be very much in tune with their bodies. Able to sense an illness underway before it becomes troublesome etc. Very intuitive indeed. I find that water Mars tends to act based on the stability of their emotional reference point. This is especially the case with Cancer(which makes the Moon position important). Because the less secure you feel, the less confident and assertive you are likely to act. And what makes Cancer feel secure? Usually things that are already familiar or can be intuitively sensed. Even a "new" situation that ultimately starts to feel like "Dejavu" will be easy for Cancer to navigate through. Cancer is the negative polarity. So this means that Cancer is about "inhaling" or "breathing in". The negative polarities (Tau,Can,But,Sco,Cap,Pis) tend to go inwards for guidance. They can be very cautious and concerned about preservation, building, conserving, retaining etc. Hence they are "feminine"( a trigger word nowadays that really has nothing to do with gender/ sexual orientation or anything connotatively charged). It just means that this energy tends towards being risk-averse. This it does from a strongly unconscious point of view. With Mars being in Cancer however, there is a contradiction. Mars on the Asc(especially) tends towards being risk-seeking. But then the Cancer seeks to act defensively even within those circumstances i.e. to self preserve. So for instance it's like the soldier marching off to war(Mars). But when there, they do all they can to not only preserve their own life. But also the loves of those they feel emotionally protective over(Cancer). The better option would have been not to go to war at all🤷🏿♂️. But Mars puts them in the helm/seat of crisis oriented situations- this particularly in house 1. It's like they are the wrecking ball coming in to disturb the status quo. Albeit sometimes the person with Mars in Cancer (particularly angular) will look a lot more "fierce" than they feel.

So true for my Virgo Mars. Except the cooking part. I don't mind cooking for myself elaborate, delicious and healthy meals. I have my Virgo mars sandwiched between my 6th house of health and my 7th house of partnership, so it influences both houses. Now that I am married again, my Virgo Mars loves cooking elaborate, delicious, healthy meals my Virgo rising husband loves. IP: Logged |

Mars conjunct Saturn can be full of energy that is protracted. It's not vivacious, it's more "long distance runner" than sprinter mentality. Saturn will limit Mars or atleast extend the energy so that it doesn't burst out in small spurts. But spread out (in a consistent fashion) over time. This placement alone suggest long, laborious, repetitive,"nose to the grindstone" commitment to task completion When in Cancer, it's very challenging.Saturn is at its "exile" in Cancer and Mars also "falls" in Cancer. So this is a case of "two people bonding over their mutual trauma of being far from home". Being taken for granted or having your contributions minimized/overlooked, is the consequence of having Saturn at its fall. Here you may need to work twice as hard in order to get the recognition you want. Because you contributions are not necessarily material or concrete. Most times they are soft skills intensive or intangible/ relationship-based. Emotional sensitivity also has a way of getting in the way of what you do. On some days, when the mood allows, you are a very capable individual indeed. You do the MOST. But when on your "off" days, it can be one emotional trigger after the next. Or being so laxity, that you put a lot of emotional exertion in what you do to a point of feeling empty and resentful of those who are "ungrateful". It's not a labour (Mars) of business(Sat) when Cancer is involved. Not like it would be if both planets were in Cap. It a labour of love(Cancer). Luckily however, you do have the Moon in analytical and mentally oriented Virgo. I wonder what aspects are formed by your Moon? In this way, the sign sextile of Moon in Virgo with Sat/Mars in Cancer is able to extricate your feelings from being too involved in the job. You don't take things as personally as you would typically with the Sat/Mars in Cancer. You learn to detach and intellectually analyze things mentally blowing a top.

Make sense,Virgo likes to feel "useful".This whether in a group or not. It matters that they are doing something that adds tangible value. This they do through paying attention to the specifics of details and adding value there. But if the end user is them, it's less satisfying. It's almost like they don't have that sense of accomplishment paid back for their output. I also think that Virgo likes to keep abreast of "How to" knowledge. This particular empowers the Mars in Virgo who can often feel out of sorts when they don't have the know how to something and told to "wing it". When younger ,my Mom used to say "you don't have to go to school for this " when she would ask me to do something "ad-hoc". When that would happen, I would feel so unprepared and unsure of where to start(my Mars in Libra is in the shadow side of the Dsc applying so that is similar to Mars in 6th house). The worst feeling for Vir (I would imagine) would be the feeling of being "unprepared". So I would think many Mars in Virgo people consider YouTube "How to" videos (particularly those that are advert free, short and concise) to be a god-send. Otherwise (as my Virgo Moon friend says) "I will just be the master of outsourcing, then I will just inspect and critique the finished product" 🤣 IP: Logged |

Pisces. I have to get my emotions under control. Clear my head. Example: seedlings I started almost a month ago, were left outside by me, last week. I forgot, the weather was too hot, and they died, so that was another thing upsetting me. I was already late with them, and planned to start more, but these included things that are supposed to be started really early. Last night, I got my Bluetooth headphones to work with my iPad, was watching The Americans, and just started the same seeds in the same little pots. My head was somewhere else, and I wasn’t tired enough to sleep. I was really shaky when I first did them, a month ago. IP: Logged |

Aries23Degrees, thank you for your extensive and eloquent reaction. It’s much appreciated. Even though Virgo is not an extremely comfortable place for Moon, mine is very well aspected. It’s trine my Venus and Jupiter conjunction in Taurus, sextile my Scorpio Uranus and square my Gemini Mercury. That last one is a bit challenging because I can get a bit lost in details every now and then. I’m definitely better in situations that require stamina than ones that require quick action. I can also endure a lot. My IC is in Capricorn as well. I’m noticing that transit Mars in Cancer is making me more irritable. It probably doesn’t help that there’s an eclipse coming up in Aries either, right on my Chiron and squaring my Mars and Saturn.

^^^ Vertigo could interfere with dancing. Sorry to hear that. But if dancing standing up is not possible, any kind of fluid movements that you could do, even if you stayed in your bed, or while lying on the floor on a yoga mat would enable your Pisces Mars to express itself and move stuck energies. Mars conjunct Mercury on the Midheaven, all in Cancer. All sextile Moon in Virgo 12th. I feel able whenever I communicate. I'm good at explaining complicated things in simple ways. I also feel very competent at my work as a librarian. Which is rather a Cancerian profession when I think about it. I need to be in tune with people to be able to guide them to the content they are looking for. I like to think I'm good at that. ------------------ My chart: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/f8/94/9b/f8949ba84e82b9596b77bd5098a17021.jpg IP: Logged |

Aries I would love working with you! I love collaborations. I find myself functioning the same way too in the corporate world. It's the same with friends, siblings, and relationship. This could be my moon in Libra speaking. I work best with someone so we can bounce ideas and task too and how to work as a team. The supporting each other feels comfortable to me. I feel the most energetic and alive when I am in the car with warm temperature/weather and going somewhere that's not the same city as my home or not near work. Exploring and doing random things with no exact plan, but that's normal right? I love it more esp with someone I mesh with. Mars in Sag in 6th. One time I end up going to china town (thats kind of far from the work building) for lunch and my coworker wanted to tag along. We ended up getting lost with time and went to other places too. We end up making up for the time at work. It was so fun and we were goofing off like kids. Kind of like how Rose and Jack took off from their mundane life in Titanic goofing off (drinking/dancing/running away from the security). I notice when someone isn't excited doing things with me, I prefer doing things by myself. I believe this goes with mentally too. I love to add: dancing! when I dance (not professionally) I feel so energized! I liked a ballroom or something jazzy dancing partner. It feels freeing to dance. Not sure if this is a Mars thing IP: Logged |

That eclipse got me off a channel i was following on YouTube. I think it was called "Transvestigations" ? Where they put a spotlight on celebs who are covert trans people. And suggest there is a secret agenda at play. Look, I did have my eyes opened by some of what was suggested. Food for thought and own internalization and dissection. But i really disliked the number of nasty people who were in there who said pretty vile things about trans people in their entirety(including the content makers). Add to that, many of them were starting to go off on some anti-gay,anti-trans,anti-feminism , anti anything progressive sentiment that fuelled other "Christian" extremists commenters to come and spill their bile. I just couldn't stomach it anymore. And after the eclipse , I kinda saw the channel (and related content) with different eyes.It was a salad of hate and negativity that I no longer wanted to know about.I unsubscribed to all. Whether this "agenda" is real or not. I just didn't care. I think the eclipse detached me long enough to see that my quest for truth was morphing "head first " into more avenues of divisive hate and hostile emotions. Had to let that breathe🙏🏿. I am not about hate or any of that jazz. And i dont like Christians/ Muslim /Jewish or any kind of religious people who think vileness and condemnation of others, is the sure way to secure a spot in God's "chosen people ". Facebook is also full of similar bile which shows up in my feed. So many "A real man must.." nonsense that is clearly Andrew Tate inspired. And people having lots to say about what a "real woman" is supposed to act, think and look like etc. There are also disturbing numbers of "just add water" philosophers on Facebook with "advice". Just because ypu have a camera in your face, doesn't make your opinion profound. Switch that isht the f*** off and go play with pigeons (or something).Damne! Its so annoying to see that social media can get to so many extreme levels of intellectual toxicity. Had to get off that Facebook video stuff too and bought a couple of books to escape into 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 IP: Logged |

I can see how this would work. Painting/ Drawing is another that i thought Mars in Pisces would be into. Early on when studying astrology, i pictured Mars in Pisces to be the type to meditate/ pray before starting the day. And perhaps even coming home after a long day and sitting in water to "detox" from the draining energy of the day etc. I do imagine that Mars is Pisces would sleep a lot or have more energy ay their disposal when taking occasional breaks? Working in isolation? Working at night? Working around water? Or motivated by all encompassing compassion to take care of a wider group of people through some form of self-sacrifice? IP: Logged |

Libra does like collaboration. That is something i have consistently noticed 👍🏿. So your Moon in Libra would explain that.
I also think Mars in Sag would appreciate gping outside of known territories (either by distance or otherwise). I knew a guy with Mars in Sag who loved to eat foreign dishes. Another one was into road trips to unexplored places etc. IP: Logged |

Heh, absolutely true in my case! Though I also have other aspects and positions to confirm this (Moon in 12th, nice aspects to Neptune…). I love to paint, music and ocean are are my medicine, I meditate in the mornings, I do work independently, by myself most of the time, in a quiet place and often a remote place I don’t sleep much though (prominent Uranus) I remember reading an article long time ago about Mars in Pisces being a spiritual warrior. It’s like a soldier that is completely paralyzed if he has to go to a real, bloody war… he’d rather go and heal everybody. IP: Logged |

Actually, I read something last year, on an ADD forum, about being moved around a lot/having to constantly readjust to new surroundings, could have had something to do with my just quitting my art studies, when they were the one thing I loved, outside of my family/friends, and pets. Books, and art. Dance, and I used to love swimming, once I learned. I loved to try new things, and was into core work a lot. I had fun learning to use the stability ball, and new ways of movement to build strength. When we moved to this State, I stopped drawing for a few months. Maybe six months. I hadn't wanted to move, especially there. I picked it up again in the Summer. When we moved here, four years later, I quit completely. I hadn't wanted to move, I wanted to stay in the same area, at least. Not in the middle of nowhere. We had some depressing things happen, because that's our lives, and I never got back into it.
