Peace~
Deuteronomy 18:10-14 doesn't mention wise-men/astrologers. It's about witchcraft...which is entirely different. IP: Logged |

Yep, Matthews 2: 1-12 is correct. Wise men have and can study the stars. And ... Wise men are not slaves to the stars. Too many people - i was once among them - let astrology drive them crazy with fear and anxiety. Which is probably why there are biblical injunctions against relying on astrologers too much. I think one needs some strong foundation or faith before diving too deep into astrology. Also, trying to use astrology as an element of control could make one a slave of it.I needed to take a step back from astrology when it caused bad thoughts and feelings. I enjoy to analyze different placements and aspects interacting, but feel happier without looking at my own chart. It’s easier to make a deal with astrology when you have a good chart according to something. Otherwise, it could be all gloom and doom.

Being too dependent on anything, including astrology is unhealthy but if you can find a way to use it to better self...thats good. Seems like OP may have been too dependent on it so good thing he/she quit astrology. Also, if you are married and fall in love with someone else and are miserable in your marriage, you absolutely need to "tear up" your current marriage in order for optimal happiness for everyone. Astrology permitting or not. I dont think anyone would randomly find their NN on someone's ascendant and immediately stop their path to jump on a new one bc of that one aspect alone but if feelings are involved and happiness will not be found unless together, please do it and dont put others in misery bc ...marriage. Divorce is real and marriage IS just a piece of paper. Dont make it the pinnacle of your life and keep it from reaching optimal happiness. With that said, dont get married just to be married or socially accepted. Marry for love or even find love and dont marry. Marriage is a human concept and ruins love imo. I have vertex conjunct vertex and briede asteroid conjunct groome asteroid with same person and I sure as heck am not even thinking about this person romantically.Anyone who jumps in the arms of another bc of an astrology aspect is delusional. With that said, OP can keep his/her thoughts, its obvious it made him/her delusional and "quitting astrology" made him/her better, but dont feel like astrology is bad. Looks like OP went from one delusion to another (Jesus). Its amazing and its comforting knowing there is something out there that we can't figure out that has our back. IP: Logged |
