So I have six planets in my birthchart that are in retrograde: Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.

I know that as you live on, your progression (sp?) chart changes. That's cool.

The only planet that does NOT go direct in my chart, within my lifetime, will be Saturn. I calculated it - I would have Mercury go Rx AGAIN before I would ever get Saturn direct. So even if I live until 102, Saturn will still be in retrograde.

What does this mean for those of us who will never have a planet go direct? Of course, I'm asking about Saturn in particular.

And does it matter the house Saturn is in? Mine is in Pisces in my 11th; it only has one awkward aspect (tight orb to my Venus in Leo). I deeply struggle with it.

I have shadow retrograde natal Plu in my progressed chart. It will not go direct for MANY years. Probably even towards my death in this lifetime.

I too have long pondered what all this(on a mundane level) would mean? And my conclusion was to look at progressed Moon as well as transits for hits to these "immovable" placements from inner and outer planets.

I would pay attention to declination aspects -as even though the planet appears not to move much by degrees. However the same planet(by declinations) is making dynamic aspects to progressed planets and transits (where applicable).

An example for me was in 2017 August 9. That was the exact time I moved for work. Progressed Moon was exactly contra-parallel Plu and (amongst many outcomes) this transit is also about domestic upheavals.

The latter was the case for me. But because this was the Moon progressed to natal Progressed Plu, these disturbances were not permanent(unlike if it was the other way around i.e. Plu transit on natal Moon).

So look at what natal progressed Saturn is doing by declinations. Are there prog planets or transits in aspect to it?

Right now my progressed chart has Venus/ Mercury/Nep/Ura/Node all parallel. Next year End Jan 2026 progressed Moon in Aqua will parallel tightly ALL.

I suspect that this will be when i move homes. Transit retrograde Jup Cancer on my natal Moon/Merc/Mars by longitudinal aspects.
