23 - you know Ariens have that little kink in their eyebrow. Have you noticed if it's mainly on the left side or the right side. Or both?
I was wondering if the kink had anything to do with being left or right brain dominant.

What do you think?

Well it's an interesting and odd question there Koi. I haven't noticed a prominence or even noticed if there is uneveness in the eyebrows. The kink, which I know we've discussed before, to tell you the truth might not even be an Aries Rising trait even though some have it but so do the occasional Gem risers. As you know, I'm Gem Mars/Aries Rising.

As for my kink, I have both eyebrows a bit kinked but left eyebrow more so. I cant tell you what hemisphere I am dominant. I'm left-handed (which is controlled by RH brain) and probably more logical than artistic so I'm left hemisphere dominant.

Mr 23 says that if you are R handed, you have a 90% chance of being left brain dominant, but if you are L handed, then it's a 50-50 split. R hemisphere of brain is artistic, Left is logical.

Defiant - thanks for correcting the slip up

23, you said:

No problem, my friend!

I am bumping onto this thread because I'd like to share with you guys all my favorite Aries people that I can remember at the moment.

Russell Crowe- oh, I heard a couple of years ago that he was considered notorious in Hollywood? I don't know much about that as I rarely ever read tabloids. *Guilty of scanning People Magazine a couple of times and actually bought a copy of one issue*

And oh no, not because I think he's hot and I fantasize about having sex with him and all that- I like him a lot, because I think he is a good actor. I admire those Aries traits in him, you know, actually, I'd like to be like him in some way instead of having sex with him for certain.

Robert Carlyle- I know at least one of us has mentioned him on this thread. He's a brilliant actor, and I am thinking The Full Munty, Priest, Trainspotting and more...oh I really admire him. Again, no sexual attraction is involved.

To be continued...(first attempt of posting failed again, have to cut it into two if not three)

Continued...

Haley Joel Osment- not only he is a very good actor, gifted at a very young age, I think he is wise beyond his chronological age. He knows what his priorities are and to the best of my knowledge, he's doing very well. He's not into all that Hollywood fame and fortune stuff. He is conscientious about his education and his goals in life. He is also very opinionated- he was said to be vehemently against the plan of filming the Harry Potter series because he thought making them into movies would ruin the real magic in the stories. Well, that was his own opinion any way, but maybe he had a good point. In any event, no, not because I'm a big sister who fancies younger boys/men (I've always been attracted to males older than I, and now I have a Libra boyfriend five years my senior). I admire him because he's a good actor, he's intelligent and wise, not wasted or corrupt, or lost like some of his peers He knows very well what's essential for his life and what is not. That's why I like him.

And again, rather ironic, but- Emma Watson-

*Ironic because I just talked about someone who was adamantly against the idea of making big-screen versions of the Harry Potter series*

Oh I've mentioned her in a previous post, I know. I've also read one of the posts in which someone said her acting was awful. That wouldn't make me angry, you know. That's not really what I care about. I somehow knew that Emma was not going to indulge in Hollywood or the West End or whatever. She was chosen to play Hermione when she was only a little girl. Now she has matured, and she is mature for her age. I just read an article on Yahoo!UK & Ireland that, she felt her life would be over as the final installment of Harry Potter franchise finishes filming. Because since she was a kid, her whole life was about filming Harry Potter, nearly always on the set, on location...I read earlier on IMDb which quoted Emma as saying something like she'd rather be happily married than be a movie star. She knew that a happy private life was far more precious than being a star in the showbiz. She was right about that.

Her acting aside, as that really doesn't matter to me- btw I think she does it well. Still, she is a beautiful blond in her full-blown womanhood now (no bias about blonds- just to mention that her hair had to be dyed brunette when she started her acting career playing Hermione, strange...not her. I mean the person who advised her to dye her hair...oh, that's not a big deal), she is very, very bright- she has just passed all her A levels with straight As, and originally was accepted by Cambridge University. But in the latest interview on Yahoo! UK & Ireland, Emma said that now the end of the entire Harry Potter franchise was imminent (I'm paraphrasing), she just wanted to disappear. She didn't want to be known as a starlet who played Hermione in the movie franchise. She wanted to be known and to be accepted just as the way she is- one of those big girls. So she gave up Cambridge, since Cambridge is such a small town, and as a showbiz celebrity, you've got nowhere to hide...or something like that. Btw I've been to Cambridge, twice. Well, Emma opted for and has been accepted, and is going to attend Columbia University in NYU in the United States. Emma wants to focus on her studies, and live a normal life as she wants. Somehow as a girl in her late-teens, she has seen through the sadness behind all that glamor of the entertainment industry, Hollywood, and so on...good actor or not, I think she makes the right choices, and I think Emma knows what she really wants, and what's truly important in life- not fame, not fortune, but happiness.

I'll post again when I recall any great Aries people.

Isn't that just so cool, you know- typical solar Aries people usually know very well what they want to do with their own lives, know perfectly well what they want! And what's right for themselves! Save those whose natal charts show certain afflictions.

Isn't that just very, very wicked? Typical Aries boys and girls, men and women, know who they are and what they are, who they want to be and what they want to be- exactly nothing but being themselves! And also usually knowing what they want with their lives!

Typical(the atypical ones aside) Aries people are tough, earnest, direct, enthusiastic, vibrant, vivacious, energetic, creative...they certainly deserve more good rap than bad rap!

And James Woods- oh I absolutely adore his fiery intensity! Great actor!

No sexual attraction involved, though. That's not to say he's not sexy, you know what I mean?

And also Christopher Lambert- has he been mentioned already? Sorry, I'm not sure. But I really like him, you know. Back in the days when he had not moved to Hollywood and was beginning his acting career in his home country, France, I really enjoyed "Subway" (directed by Luc Besson). He has made quite a few, to say the least- good films in America.

Also Alec Baldwin- uhh...I know all those scandals surrounding him...like his wife-beating, alcoholism, bad temper, name-calling his own little daughter and all that...but I think he is a good actor, especially in "The Hunt for Red October" and in "The Departed"...just his acting, not really his private behavior. Just his acting.

Rumours have it that James Woods is the most well endowed actor in Hollywood.

What Aries man doesn't want to hear he's got the biggest!

It's a bit disappointing really - thinking of that on him - I mean, I can think of other Aries men I'd rather see it on. Hey - lets not even restrict it to other Aries men! Christian Bale has Aries Moon, that's close enough.

I almost forgot Dudley Moore- who passed away in 2002. He was best known for his comedian talent, but less known for his music genius, and in fact, Dudley's true passion was music, instead of acting. In his final years, he composed and conducted an orchestra piece entitled Showbiz- and I watched the video footage on TV right after his passing, when I was studying in Auckland, New Zealand , upon listening to "Showbiz", the symphony, I could sense the profound sadness Dudley had seen through the showbiz industry What a great man, he was truly talented! I'm thinking about "Like Father Like Son"

Dudley Moore rocks, I mean- yeah you heard me right- still rocks, despite the fact that he has gone to another realm of existence I've seen quite a few of his movies when I was a teenager, on cable- though I don't have a photographic memory and have forgotten most of those... Sorry!

I guess I'm an atypical Aries, because I'm usually told that I'm too soft on people, and too hard on myself. I take things too much to heart, but once the initial sting is gone, I deal with whatever hurt me. Shy as I can be, I can have a big mouth, and be a bit blunt... I'll take laughing until my stomach hurts, over fighting, any day. I find that fellow Aries are generally nicer than we're made out to be.

I've enjoyed reading some nice things about Aries, for a change.

Cook & Moore - you really have to see/hear it to get it. Try YouTube. Should have something there - everything's on there. I used to listen to them when I was younger on the radio - they'd have specials on after midnight - all these classic comedy routines. Hilarious.

American Psycho is absolutely hysterical. Funny funny movie. Well, I think anyway.

Christian was in The Prestige. Great movie - but you can't walk away or miss a second. It's one of those.

Loved him in Laurel Canyon.

He's a good all-rounder. Can do the serious roles and action roles. I just love him. That he's not bad to look at is quite nice too. Easy viewing.

And Emma Thompson!!!

Not only is she a brilliant actor, maybe you know she's also a writer- she wrote the screenplay "Sense And Sensibility" and won an Oscar for it!
