Great choices everyone!

I know that it's possible no one would consider this a classic but me, but:

my favorite movie of all time is Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I will gladly discuss this movie's brilliance into the deep dark night. I've had to buy it twice on DVD from watching it so much!

Other favorites:
Taxi Driver
Harold & Maude
The Piano
Shawshank Redemption (So glad this was mentioned!)
Splendor In the Grass
Knife in the Water
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

I don't know if this could be considered a Hollywood classic but "The Seventh Seal" by Bergman has always been a favorite.
