Teasel

I think your original post was in reaction to another members earlier post, right? I can't remember the thread title but what I gathered from your reply was that you were thinking that that post was directed at you. Btw I think it was intended for one member who had p!ssed another member a bit.

Guys, don't be paranoid.

the dilema:

love my new husband oh so much. i really really do, i almost hate having to throw his stuff outside in the yard, but i feel it is my obligation. see, he's a messy i'm a neatie. i work so very hard and i like my home to be clean and clutter free. i would like to stay a beautiful happy wife who has time for creative persuits, but i find i am too busy picking up rip-it cans, pepsi cans and receipts, change, shoes and other assorted goodies to be my happy self who enjoys her husband and her home. that being said, i have to think, ok, you gave him a place for reciepts, a change jar, a trash can, cleaned his dresser out and organized and cleaned the man up the best you could...showed him the laundry shoot, now you are starting to nag, and we all know that is unattractive. especially in a new wife.
i dont want to be a wore out tired hag. Until we move, i dont want to hire a cleaning person, and honestly, if he cared about his stuff, it wouldn't be laying around for new maid, i mean beautiful new wife to pick up...tracking with me?.....

so with the new moon, comes my new plan. if i pick it up, it goes out the front door, into the yard. period. if people dont buy my house becasue the crap in the yard, so be it. if my neigbors walk thier dog and shake thier head and laugh, so be it.

i did a little research and the choices are

a. pick up after him forever
b. get used to living in a mess

i dont like those choices at all, so i choose:

c. assume the stuff is unimportant and toss it right out the front door.

and for those of you who would say, didn't you know he was a messy before you married him? i say to you, didn't you know opposites attract?

and plus i thought a clean environment would make someone like / want to be clean, when they can for the first time in years actually sit on a chair and actually know where thier stuff is. yes, at my age, i am that nieve at times.

feel free to comment and offer suggestions, although i think letting my actions speak instead of whiny whimpy words, will really prove more effective.

i feel better already.

and, yes i do love my husband very much, i just have no intentions on being his mommy, maid, ar anything like that. i am his LOVER and when mama leo gets wore out, well, this little kitty just ain't purring..

maybe i will have time to paint my nails now.
thanks for listening. happy tossing.

MVM - hhhmmmm..... wonder what mvm would think of my new plan...

koifluer would say - where is he, let me at em, i got your back girlfriend.

ehh, it's a tough one, my dad is extremely messy, my mom tried everything and nothing helped, I dont want to discourage you but ... get a big coffer, don't throw his things away but put them in there instead and lock it .. and whenever he needs something, sell it to him... like $50 an item?? or impose a fine (for things he is not going to buy, e.g. empty cola cans on the floor etc)

Hahhhhhh! You're wrong, sweetie. This is what I would say:

Did you know that you can train M like like animal trainers train animals? (Alliteration? LOL). And if you add the power of manifesting the results will be MAGIC. Here's how you do it:

Do a bit of meditation. Visualize that he is doing all the things you want him to do (put clothes in hamper, organize his stuff, etc). Do this at least once a day. Or any time you have free time. Do it with love, feel as if your desire is already happening.

Then watch as it unfolds in real life. You'll be surprised! And every time he does something right, praise him and thank him. You are reinforcing positive behavior. And everytime he does something that ****** you, don't pay attention to it, otherwise you're giving it energy and you'll attract more of it.

Believe me, this works. Nothing to lose.

Ok, I have another one but I'm not sure if it's effective:

How about NO SEX until all his stuff are in their proper places? Would that work?
