Lara i like you because ... Do i have to justify? I never saw you as you think you are perceived. I like that you are unconventional sometimes, deep often, and outrageous quite a bit. I like it. Rock n roll sounds good. Zala i like your kindness, your thoughtfulness. I see you as a living library, always bringing info whenever it is needed. Sometimes i want to call you mummy Thinking rock n rolls, grandmaguitar katatonic wins the prize of irreverance, openmind and understanding. I really appreciate lindaland IP: Logged |

My Libran indecision isn't letting me to pick any one person right now, so let me just say I wouldn't come to this board if I felt it had nothing to offer. People here are great, and if there's a storm from time to time, I just wait it out, because I know the sun will come back out again soon enough.IP: Logged |

Hello all! I didn't notice this lovely thread until this moment, and am SO glad I did. I needed some serious fuzzies, and might just camp out here for a while. I'm superduper new to LL, after a long time of swearing off astrology forums in general. I had a really bad experience in another well-known place (not naming names) that had sort of put me off of the idea that people with different approaches to (and feelings about) astrology could co-exist. I rubbed a few people the wrong way unintentionally (I'm a Mercury ruled Super Cardinal Arien Plutonian w/ a wildly afflicted Moon- certainly not everyone's cup of tea), it quickly spiraled out of control, and I was just not equipped to handle the amount of backpedaling and self-correction I was expected to do. Me and several other folks were kind of run out of town like outlaws, haha. I finally came to LL because everyone seemed so kind, informative and varied here. Lots of different ages, perspectives, locations, and backgrounds- it really appealed to me. LL's got it's newbies and elders, it's 24/7 synastry people, it's asteroid people, it's Vedic people, it's Magi people, it's horary people, it's "I just signed up, please give me a free reading" people, it's past lives people, it's Sun Signs Only people, etc- the whole gamut! And somehow it seemed to be working! I thought "here's a place I can BELONG!" and then BOOM. Eclipse season & descent into similar madness. Fortunately, it seems as though it's recovering and I'm feeling better about it all again already. I know I've only been here a short while, but I feel as though I've already made some friends and honestly look forward to seeing all of your personalities make appearances in the various threads. Thank you PA for this thread- much, much needed all around, I think. I also just want to add that I think it's really important to be silly sometimes, particularly where spirituality is concerned. It's serious business to all of us, obviously, or we wouldn't be here- but what's the harm of a little girl talk and some "what song applies to your moon sign?" every now and then? Who are we without our laughter? IP: Logged |

PA I love that you are game to both silly and serious stuff, which the child and the adult in me find delightful. Your perspective on things is the one I resonate with the most. I wouldn't credit it to similar natal charts, backgrounds or experiences (I'm sure they are very different) so I will just conclude that you and I are maybe tuned in to the same channel, whatever anomalous station that is. --- I love and appreciate each Knowflake. I see you all as a mirror that helps me know and understand myself and life better. I regard Lindaland as a composite person, therefore each individual part is equally important to the whole. Sometimes a certain part gets cranky and upsets the whole, but this is normal in every living system as it grows and expands. And whenever this happens, I view it as a signal that there is something in me that is needing attention. I believe that I have attracted you all into my life. Thank you everyone for being you. It is an honor to be sharing this wonderful home with you... and your alter egos and multiple personalities. I wish I could meet you all in person. Yeah, I know that is impossible, so I will just visit you when I pass on. I promise not to scare you. --- Thanks to Randall for opening this wonderful place to all of us. --- In Spanky Butler tradition: I'm sending a special shout-out to Deux*Antares for keeping me company in good times and bad, for teaching me the importance of self-love, for showing me that "different doesn't mean bad", for opening my eyes to the wonders of deliberately creating the life that I want, for introducing me to cheese ice cream, for teaching me Advanced Voodoo Techniques*+ and for letting me borrow your LindaLand account once in a while. *+Inserted to remind people not to mess with me. ------------------ Be humble, but not weak.
