well, PA, it works in reverse too. australia is so hard for most of us to get too! i would love to visit there, but ... and new zealand especially has been on my list forEVER. one day maybe.

though when i lived in england the visit here to california could be like travelling to mars - one time took 24 hours due to delays of all kinds...

Very true. It's easy to see things one way. I mean, I think to myself, I'm here, and I want to get there and it's a long flight (very Aries ). But you're right and Australia is such a great place to come and see. There's so much here. The travel time and distance is the only complaint I have about living here. Sometimes it does feel like Australia is a different place/planet.

I just enjoy folks from other countries. Where I live we have many immigrants living in the building and it's so refreshing to learn about their cultures and traditions. (Can u tell I have a Saggy Influence in my chart?)

I'm a Canuck living in Alberta.

Bulgarian living in the US.
The excitement of [legal!] immigration is starting to wear off. Planning my next adventure.

Why did I come to LL?

I found LL by chance while Googling Linda Goodman (duh!) in 2003.
In true 8th house Moon (Pluto?) fashion I stuck around and now I'm addicted.

Thanks guys for responding.

Hey, what do you think about posting pictures taken from where you live or where you are from? Whatever you find beautiful in your area..

Anything you want...

I'll take some pics of the countryside where I am and post them here one day.

I'm an American living in Germany with Bear the Leo (well he is currently deployed to the Mid East).

Soon we will be back in AZ (YAY).

Why did I join LL? Hmmm... it was way back in May 2002 and I had read Linda Goodman's books and searched the internet for more information.

I'm not on as much as I used to be due to the time difference, work and taking care of things during the 12 month deployment (which is almost over )

****edited to add... I am a Saggie with an Aries Moon. I love meeting people from all over and have absolutely enjoyed living in Europe although I am happy that we are going back home next Spring.

Someone mentioned "la fête de la musique" and I have to say, I was lucky enough to have gone, in a mid sized city in Brittany, Brest, and it was awesome! Of course, being Brittany, it was raining, but it was still loads of fun.

The main point for many is to walk around and get drunk out of your mind. LFM is like one big city party. I got a bottle of wine myself and got decently tipsy and enjoyed all the music.

The Breton part of France is gorgeous and I have been five times. I want to see it again, fond memories.

Someday I hope to live in France (yah right, that is impossible sadly, but a dream none the less). For now, I live in China but I write my journal entries n French every day.

My French is not good, but since I have seen some French people in this thread, would anyone like to try and be my pen pal? If you can withstand my juvenile grasp of the language..
