So my Pisces friend as informed me that Mars will be the closest to Earth on August 27th the day of my Grandma's birthday, the day after my birthday...O.oIt probably will not happen again in a a very long time and she said it will probably be as big as the Moon to the naked eye.. Should I be weary of this? IP: Logged |

That would be so awesome!Well, except for what it would do to the tides, and possibly even fault lines. Not that I think it's going to get THAT close, I'm just saying that would be cool to look up and see a planet in the sky like that. IP: Logged |

Thanks for posting this CK, but it's not happening this summer.....See Snopes: http://www.snopes.com/science/astronomy/brightmars.asp This has been circulating in email for years (sorry to be a wet blanket ) I wouldn't be either wary or weary IP: Logged |
