Yin;

lol, your work space is priceless, and even though I know you, I'm still gonna "do" you, but I'm gonna hafta come back after this ginormous 800mg ibuprophen kicks in and lowers my fever, otherwise, Lord only knows what I would come up with.

Love to you, and your rock friends. (:

A musical instrument?
A ventriloquist dummy?
The costume you wore when playing Sleeping Beauty or Snow White?

LOL, LEXX, where did you dig out this old thread from?!
One of your guesses is hot.
PS I never played Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, I was too shy.

Well it is obviously a keyboard, but not sure what type.....
Looks like a piano or organ, not just a keyboard.
It was the reference to "kiss" of life which threw me, indicating something which required mouth/lips to "activate" it; hence the guesses I made.

LEXX,
It is a piano. I meant "kiss of life" as in bringing my skills back to life, not literally kissing it, lol!
I used to play to a very nigh standard when I was younger. It was my job. Now that door is firmly shut. I wonder if it will open ever again. This is so me. I do something, I stop and I burn the bridges. Totally. And I don't even want to look back. Does it make sense? Sorry if it doesn't.

what a great thread!

i see before me, way, way too many cd's, but now who can have too much music?

books, of all sorts, a crazy little lamp that swirls inside when the computer is on, a pencil holder crafted for me by my blessed potter friend, many, many years ago.

my trees, birds, squirrles, a mexican bird bath, a stone gnome.

funny pens that i have collected from drug reps at work.

and, always, always a kittie or two.

o, yea..

a beer~~~

Hippichick:

I used to collect pens from the drug reps at work too, but I collected them for practical use...

For some reason I see this as a symbol of the fact that you, "take your work home with you," Your patients never really leave your mind do they?

And you are so sentimental, so sweet, complicated and simple.
You have one foot here and one foot in the fairy world.
O, how I can relate to you, Hippichick.

Gypsee, you know me far, far too well (as Layne Staley sings to me from heaven in the background....)

Yup....cept I do not bring my work home with me, I take my soul purpose out there 36 hours a week.
