I can't be bothered fighting it out in GU either, to be honest. I like to see progression in things. When people start with politics it goes nowhere. I'm a win-win person. If I were a politician, I'd be a dictator. That way everybody win-wins.

Sick children today means that there's enough crap happening in my day-to-day world so I would like to come here for a laugh or ten. I don't want to get stressed, but de-stressed seems like a really viable reason for commuting to cyberland and valued friends.

That's the problem. Someone elses ill-informed opinion could be another person's treasure. Either way, I don't have the energy to battle it out - best put into other areas. There's enough to deal with without adding to it. Doing something to alleviate it seems more useful.
