I always had my theory of lindaland as a community built around "veteran astrologers" or "veteran hobbist astrologers" then that knowledge is passed to the "newbies" who are intrested in learning.

But, seing this thread get hijackand and what was mentioned in the Astrology 2.0 thread, that you have a point.

If I recall after 2004 there was a lot of "seasoned users" that left.

So the "lindaland experience" might not be the same any more and the site changed a bit.

I normaly browse the site and post if I think its necessary.

Otherwise, I just browse the site and stay at a distance.

I rember one of my college professors use to have a forum, when I was enrolled but it was taken down since nobody posts anything really that usefull.

Of course, I'm finished with that college and enrolled at another college.

I'm just curious???

i regret if my interventions bother some people but i can't censor myself; or should I? because from disagreement, lots can come out, and from humour too, as much as from deep talk. i like depth (aqua sun 8th trine pluto moon libra 4th) but i need other stuff too. and i like it when some here go bonkers. i like the freedom we have to be who we are, because there will be never enough space to show all sides of everyone's personalities.

i learn from deep thread as much as from light ones. in french, there's a saying:

there are no bad tools, there are bad workers.

i disagree many times here with people, but i don't mind. i mind that some leave though. but there many forums that aren't visited often, like gaia's garden for example; i wonder why?

about diversity and disagreement: i think it would be great if we all shared the same views and where all agreeing with each other but i doubt we'll be able to accomodate everyone. and in a sense, i can find the good in this too.

the way i see LL is like real life, with people being humans and bringing who they are and what they have. i get bored, upset, angry, but i also get happy, more knowledgeable, more wise, and not every days in the same ways.

the good thing about LL is that it mixes people from different background and with different outlook. i don't think it should change because this way, many people can access it from different angle.
