Good point. It sounds like you're ahead of the game. For most people, just seeing that pain, and understanding what it is, and how difficult it is to combat, is a huge step. If you can do that (and it sounds like you already have), then I can see how forgiveness probably isn't an issue for you.

T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel and I just kicked my own butt and decided to find a good book. I always said that the only place I could find wise advice (before LL) was in my books. Form the authors with PhD's in Wisdom and Life and maybe in college too... So I found one yesterday.

"Who Moved My Cheese?"

Loosely, it is about 2 rats and 2 little human types who are running around in the maze... when the great powers that Be move the cheese, the rats just instinctively start searching around for more but the human types Hem and Haw (that's their names) and basically whine, bidch and moan about why the cheese is gone and how they searched so hard to find the cheese the first time etc. and meanwhile they get weak and confused from lack of cheese. Til one of them finally decides to go look for new cheese. There was a book mark in the book, it is used for work seminars n stuff, and the bookmark has the main ideas the little human discovered on his journey for new cheese.

Change Happens
(They keep moving the cheese)

Anticipate Change
(Get ready for the cheese to move)

Monitor Change
(Smell the cheese often so you know when it
is getting old)

Adapt To Change Quickly
(The quicker you let go of old cheese,
the sooner you can enjoy new cheese)

Change
(Move with the cheese)

Enjoy Change!
(Savor the adventure and enjoy the taste
of new cheese)

Be Ready To Change Quickly And Enjoy It Again and Again
(They keep moving the cheese)

So, I love this fricking book. I am finally able to find the positive again and I can feel myself feeling better and better now that I am on the road again in search of new cheese. LOL

♫ Despite all my rage
I am still just a rat in a cage... ♫

But I'm done sitting around bemoaning the fact that the cheese has disappeared.
I am beginning the next journey
the next quest for the Holy Grail
the cheese disappeared, yes,
but I am done analyzing where the cheese has gone or why it has gone or why they moved MYYYYYYY cheese for God's sake! When I had worked so hard to find it in the first place!!!!!!!!

I am THERE.
Out in the maze.
Looking for new cheese DAMMIT!

Call me soon Miss T!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need your new address so I can send you a Christmas card!

Love, Love, Love,

Who said cheese?

You know, for once in my life I don't feel like this right now. I am feeling all in-the-moment and full of mental energy, so much that my body can't keep up and there's not enough hours in the day for what I want to do.

But bear with me, it'll pass.

I do have the in-the-shower thoughts that you and Gypsee have. Not nice huh? Mostly while I'm looking at the new wrinkles that seem to have appeared out of nowhere, I now have wrinkles underneath my eyebrows, wtf?

That sounds like a great book Mel. I'll give you a call one of these days soon. I've been nonstop and it's a very good thing after a long period of stagnation and reflection. Hope youre well.
