Oh, yeah.

Ironic, too, given that "santa wars" in Russia (they have their own Santa figure but coca cola imported the Santa over there and it's been something of a war since then).

But anyway, another fun tidbit is that the reindeer love those shrooms so much that people tripping on them had to be careful peeing in the snow, because apparently the reindeer could actually smell it in the pee and would run over and start eating the snow, often knocking the one peeing over.

My memory is real fuzzy on this, but IIRC, I think you can drink the pee of someone on those shrooms up to 3 times and get more psychoactive effects from it. My memory is I asked, "How would anyone ever discover that?" and I believe that was when I was told about the reindeer knocking people over to eat the pee in the snow which would make the others go, "Oh!" and try it for themselves.
