ola...i hope this is the correct place to post this.

i would really like to cultivate my psychic abilities. i have a VERY strong intuition. astrological symbols speak very strongly to me and i am very good at interpreting dreams.

i feel like i have latent psychic abilities...i guess on some level everyone does but its stronger than ever these days.

any advice on how to manifest this abilities?

I'd generally encourage meditation where you empty your mind. That is no visualizations or anything where you walk over paths & stairs & meet teachers, you instead just think of ONE thing (maybe an ever blooming flower--some like to see this flower at a chakra, while others just see it as "out there"--or a colored light or rainbow, etc) and clear your mind of anything but that.

If you do it right, you'll lose all sense of time, so it's good to use a timer to help avoid being distracted by "do I need to go do something else of important now? How long have I been here?"

It does take awhile to achieve the discipline to do this, so start small and don't be discouraged by early failures to do much at all. The mind is a muscle like everything else and needs to be exercised to grow strong.

Diana - that's a really interesting thing to say. It was when I suffered emotional truama 16 years ago, that my mind grew, in a sense. I became more clear and focussed. I had had a couple of psychic experiences previously, but after the traumatic event, the power of prayer became incredibly strong in my life.

Yeah, I always kind of had it, but then I had emotional trauma and it's made it very strong for some reason. Maybe it's not that, maybe it just gets stronger as you get older. Mine is now very strong and eerily accurate. I don't want it to get stronger.

Don't read anything... emotional trauma will do it cos it opens up the 3rd eye and the 2nd/3rd chakras

Otherwise, start by staring into the dark and see what you see, then expand on that. If you see colours try and change them
