It's one thing to feel the "dark night of the soul," and support, virtual hugs, etc. can help with that. But sending an email about killing oneself and telling the other person that it will all be their fault, is really highly psychotic. Support and kindness and virtual hugs will not help that kind of psychosis, and will in fact enable it and fuel it. I hope that Valus has people who love him enough to get him the genuine care he needs rather than slap an "awwww, poor mistreated baby" band-aid on a seriously disturbing situation.

The situation has been twisted and things have been taken out of context... as it usually happens on LL - sooner or later. I don't know what I was expecting here. (Stupid Libra Moon)

Nobody on this forum needs negativity or bad karma or pseudo-psych advice sent their way.

Mods, please lock or delete this thread BEFORE some other nonsense comes about.
Thanks.

For your information, wishing that a person gets genuine care is not negative, bad karma, or pseudo-psych. It's also not "nonsense" just because you personally don't like it. If Valus didn't really send an email to Wheels about killing himself and blaming her, then I'm all apologies and everything is fine and there's obviously nothing to worry about. If he did that's worrisome, no?

wheels of cheese Sorry about your family grief.
As to your interactions and communications with Valus, I know how you feel far too well.
One reason I am not here at LL much anymore.

Yin, I know you love him and want to make it right for him

This is deja vu. Lindaland has been through this with Valus long before Wheels rolled in. Only Valus can make the emotional decision to drink hemlock. He can point the emotional boney death finger at whoever and it won`t change Valus or his urges. It is his conscious choice and NO one should ever be held accountable but him . That letter is emotional abuse of sender and to the receiver.
I am fighting to live and he wants to chug hemlock. Odd how ironic life is, yes?
Bless you both. juni

What you went through concerning Valus is a thing many of us have gone through.
These kind of "head games" (especially the suicide/blackmail threats)of his are repeat incidences, having simply new targets, and even at time old ones.
Just wanted you to know others may not post about your troubles with him, but many of us know exactly from whence you come concerning it all having experienced it personally, often more than once.

juniperb You said it!

Sadly too many times. He hurt/betrayed many folks. I agree with you here too:

It is a hard fight for many of us, but we keep trying and go onward.

hmmm... guess I'm not alone.

wish I could help, but I'm not much use the last couple days...

my thoughts at the moment are: call me a drone or call me ANYTHING, as long as you pay me for it so I can pay the landlord so my daughter and I don't end up in a shelter with every household item I worked for my entire life left behind...

Yin , I'm sensing the thread's fizzled now. If it gets out of control I'll close it. I think it's over.

Thanks PA.
Sounds like many of us are struggling in many ways. I am sure many here can relate to wondering what tomorrow might bring, as MM stated about a place to live and serious financial woes. Some folks here have been ill, and still are. Some live with constant pain. My heartfelt wish goes out to all of you who are struggling.
To better times for all of you and good fortune, good health and love to all.
