Really vapor-lash????

I'm the most plain jane bordering on icky that there is. I have scars from an accident and you can really tell when I smile. That's why I posted a small piccie - hehehehehe

But thank you any way - you are beautiful too

That's my natural hair colour - Black on Anglo-Saxon skin - always confused people (in my hometown).

Oh well, hopefully the pic I post this afternoon will look more like this:

But with shorter hair.

You're not plain Jane at all!

I like your facial expression - because you seem serene and very happy.
Like you are very happy with *you* (even though you hate the haircut and all)

I guess being an Aries I like the witty-confidence .. and it makes you beautiful!

IMO - "Plain Jane" is entirely in the attitude. You couldn't be plain Jane if you tried lol

And - you might think I'm odd lol but there is something about your eyes/facial expression that reminds me of Tea Leoni. I looked her up and she is also a Leo.. so that's interesting.

PA This is what I took in - My hair can sit like this easily - it needs the weight though and definitely not a razor cut!!

^^ wow ok -

I think I would've made a call when they asked me to pay.. and if they asked whether I was paying I'd just be like "shushhhh this is important! I'm making you an appointment with an optometrist. I just can't bear to have you go through life with such poor eyesight - I'll buy the glasses myself."

glasses AND hand them a card saying "This is not a hold-up, but remain still and listen. Your client is about to explain advice on cutting her hair. One slip, or deviation, will make your client's ability to attract the right mate and henceforth the future of humankind is at stake. This will effect even you"

Btw, and for you info.... I love Shaggy!!

What I do is go in and say "give me a good haircut" and then give them some sort of guideline like "layers" and then tell them to go wild.

Pire - secretly, I thought it was cool - a Beatle-like 60's funk - but the flicky outy bits would annoy me, so they had to go!!! But thank you, my sweet pire

Thanks PA!! It's going to be more manageable in this heat at work. It will eventually grow into my ideal style.

Enough about me!!!! Now let's get cracking and start cruising the threads

Wheels!!! Thank you, my friend. How wonderful are knowflakes!!! You're all so beautiful.

Actually let me just confess, I overcame my sensitivity to my scarring, which is saying something. Maybe it's saying that Knowflakes truly are beautiful souls and I needn't worry about showing my flaws here

One of my sisters has bad facial scarring (fell down stairs when she was young, holding a plate which broke) and then from a road accident when she was 21. People say to me "Wow, what happened to your sister?" And I say sometimes "What?"

I think if people love you they just don't notice stuff like that about you.

I've been feeling quite low lately because I have aged a lot in the last year. I have deep wrinkles where a year ago there were none, and I mean none. It's like every day I'm like "Jesus Christ!" when I look in the mirror. I think this is due to worry. But anyway, I was trying to get some perspective on all of this, because these women's magazines and their messages are just horrible, but I can't say it doesn't matter to me because it does. But I was thinking if Pisces had a few more wrinkles, bigger bags under his eyes, a scar or two, a rash, an ailment, a colostomy bag etc etc, would I love him any less? Nope. I would not. Definitely not. So apply the same to myself -if people didn't love me it might matter to them, but then they wouldn't matter to me.

Innit?!

It's a hard one wheels - your poor sister! People who love her won't notice, but new people do. I have people notice and comment - most don't. Children usually do, but I haven't had any comment for a couple of years now. Probably because everything's blending in to the wrinkles and gray hair!!! I'm sure your sister has adopted survival skills to overcome any anst associated with facial scarring.Umm, has she? I hope so. It's a tough one for women.

I hope you don't go on a downer. Self-image is a hard one to beat. It's weird to see those wrinkles appear - like out of nowhere!! I just try to look clean and tidy and healthy - also posture is a great thing to focus on. Posture can make a person look full of energy and therefore......younger!!

I've just seen 5 minutes of Whacked Out Sports - It makes me think that God should have given men periods - it would keep them occupied and away from dumb stupid sports.

I'm hitting the sack early tonight. Have a great day!! Are you at work today? Take care!!!

Sweet dreams

wheels

I don't look in the mirror often. I mean, I glance - to make sure that my dress isn't hitched into my knickers or that I haven't forgotten the comb in my hair - but not really stop and take a good look. So when I do, the new lines are quite obvious. It's a shock. I go about my day quite brightly and in my head I'm prancing around like I'm a big kid, or at the eldest, around 24. That's where I am. So the external image belies that internal image.

I look at it like this: I've grown into myself. Every single one of those lines I've earned. A lot from laughing. Others from crying. But mostly from living. That's what human beings do. As we get older that's what we see in each other. Gratitude.

Yep, you look beautiful Koi!!!

I like both cuts, I think you could pull off any style you wanted.

*What facial scarring, what wrinkles? I see nothing!!!

Wheels! I know what you mean, gravity is EVIL, I tell you, straight up evil! But, what PA says is true, you earned them from living, and feeling comfy in your own skin does manifest outwardly. PA is alot older then me at 24, I'm still 17, which makes my oldest child a year older then me, and don't she know it!! Bossy, bossy, bossy.
