OK....the stains appear oily? Try this: Take one item... rub "any one" of the following onto a stained spot...(do not know what you have available there) Avon Skin So Soft Bath Oil Baby oil Lestoil Pinesol WD 40 spray Goop ..... if that causes the stain to loosen or spread, then the stain may be oily/grease. Add to each spot dish washing liquid straight up. Now hand wash very hot and rewash as usual again, to remove more and the odor of any of the degreasers. Very hot, lots of degreasers. Do not put anything with Lestoil on it in washer...Lestoil is able to cause explosive fires! Rinse well first. DO NOT USE BLEACH or toxic fumes will form when mixed with some of the above. If it is rust, then you need a rust remover for fabrics.

Sounds like the machine. (or the dryer?) OK...hand wash or go wash elsewhere. Wash one item to see if it does the trick. Rinse in very hot water too. (I shall not get into the boil option unless nothing else works) Use a non chlorine degreaser like any I listed, mixed with non chlorine dish liquid, one that claims to be good on grease removal, and rub in good, then soak in really hot water after a few minutes. There are also grease/oil stain pre-wash removers out there if you would rather use them. Follow the directions carefully. You might have to pre-treat/pre-wash/rinse and do it more than a few times. Good luck!IP: Logged |
