Anyone else have any? This is one topic where "Less is more," at least if you really want to accomplish them.

Mine are:

- Manage my money better
- Go on more vacations

Find my calling.

I am also thinking of studying Zen Buddhism.

I do ten every year (goal setting) and see how far I get.
Two years 2005 and 2007 I achieved damn near all of them...and they were pretty big one's.
Last year, my so called fabulous Jupiter year I limped home with 2 and a half (I can't even explain the half, other than to say I did something which I have never done before, in that I started something and then quit.
But I am off to a flyer this year,
day 15 of my no alcohol 3 months (well it started as 3 months but then I decided 3x1 month conveniently spaced throughout the year would be infinitely better and achievable.
Bunnies likes her red wine...what can I say?
Even when I did a liver flush (see archives!) I only stopped for a week.
Trust me swilling down Epsom salts and olive oil is enough to put you off anything (what a jolly Friday night that was!)
Anyhow I am going to achieve everything on that list this year...
And I am putting big fluorescent marker pen lines through them when they are done.
Oh the satisfaction..
Speaking of which...has anyone ever...I think it's called "zorging"....rolled down a hill in a big plastic ball....anyone????

I would totally zorg... if I didn't have vertigo. But maybe that'll make it better.

I've never Zorged either, but it does sound fun.

I somehow thought about my having quit smoking this morning, and realized that it's been five years.

Well done you, AG! It's been one for me.

Yin, The Buddhists Bible is a great book in case you didn't already know.

Zorging sounds awesome, but I would probably throw up, I have weird issues with spacial anxiety..

Thanks, Ghani. I've read some texts in my own language but not that particular compilation. I will take a look at it.

Zen Buddhism is closer to Taoism in its philosophy. I don't think the latter is practiced in the US as a religion though. Still doing my homework here.

I would totally zorg.

Or Bunnies could give me the wine she's giving up, and I could just roll down the hill.

But that wouldn't be anything new.

Hmm, I didn't make any this year. I sure would like to get my degree, but there is no way I could do 3 math classes before next year, my brain would actually explode.

AND, I refuse to quit smoking.

My New Years resolution last year was to call my parents at least once a month.
That one didn't work out.

still thinking....

Okay, before the year is over, I resolve to go see my Dad and my brothers in Florida.

I keep putting this off because I'm afraid I won't come back! But I need to see them.
Yep, that's what I will do. Even if I have to ride a stupid bus all the way there.

There's always room for improvement and I'm a firm believer in affirmations. If you believe that you are, even if you aren't, than you will be...

So mine would be to manage my diabetes better.

To get the new dog in the house to stop chewing on shoes (I lost 2 pair yesterday to the mutt). And to stop jumping up in attempt to do face plants on everyone...the dog that is..lol.

To manage my money better and pay down my car loan to where they stop calling me every couple of hours.

To go on a trip to visit an old friend. I've been saying for years that I would visit him. He lives in Minnesota.

So yeah I'll have to stop by here next year and take a gander...

OH and btw that Zorging thing does sound like a blast! You'd probably have to mop up the inside when I'm done, but

and GW... save some of that wine for me, k?

I got that book for an ex of mine years ago and that is exactly what he was into studying, more Toaist ideas. I wish I would have kept the book, darn it... He certainly didn't adhere to the teachings, turns out it was just for show.
