LEXX - what's a sound machine?

I like the humdrum sound of people's voices, like in a food court. This sound can make me feel tired and sleepy. I think it might be a genetic throw back to feeling safe in the tribe.....perhaps, maybe.

Gypsee.. sorry you have such challenges. Hopefully your treatments will help with that.
I have RLS too. You know Thumper from Bambi? I remind myself of that. I sit here and just get my let going and it's like I can't help it.. probably drives my co-workers nuts lol.
And at night, my legs ache sometimes..making it hard to sleep.
My step dad has it too and he takes meds for it.

My conscience is clear, thank you very much.

Style wise, my repertoire is limited to 3 positions : my left side, my back, and towards the right on my stomach.

I like it as dark as possible.

In response more to your question;

LEXX, this is off-topic but I have been wondering - do you have a Sag with Libra Moon and Aqua Rising in your immediate surroundings that you can think of? How do you get along?

Not a Sag sun, but my beloved has a Sag moon.
I have an Aqua moon..

The day after I posted in this thread, I fell out of bed when one of the dogs startled me awake... I really need to find something that he can use to climb up by himself, so he has no need to scratch me, and wake me up.

I don't remember his exact birthday, I'm afraid. I wish I could - he could pass for either Pisces or Aries, depending on his mood.

My dogs are siblings: Capricorn Sun, Scorpio or Sadge Moon, Venus in Aquarius (I think it was - I need to look at their charts again).

This is the one who helped me to fall out of bed: Bertie

This is Dennis (a picture from a few years ago) :

He tends to creep people out a bit, but he's a real lovebug.

Re: sleeping - I've been a light sleeper my whole life.

When I was a baby, I would happily drift off into a nap, after lying in my crib for a while. As I got older, my parents had trouble trying to get me to sleep, and I'd be up at dawn with my Dad. That all changed, when my mother informed me one morning, that I was on vacation, and didn't have to get up so early... she had trouble getting me out of bed for years afterwards.

My Piscean aunt advised my mother to put me down for a nap, and carry on working around the house - not to make things as quiet as possible - otherwise, she'd never get anything done. The sound of the dishwasher, washing machine, dryer - anything like that - can send me off to noddy land (the warmth and sounds from hairdryers, hot air vents, and portable heaters...). I don't mind a certain amount of noise (I love the sounds of the creatures outside, in the warmer months - in the past, I left an African webcam open, as the noise outside died down, so that I could hear similar sounds from over there ).

Teasel;

My Mom had that same problem when she let her beagle get really overweight, and she couldn't jump on the bed herself. They make these little pet ladder things, for them to climb up, but my Mom just got a second hand footstool, and set that next to the bed. The dog just stood on the OTHER side of the footstool, whining.
So, we had to get treats and sit on the bed with a treat, and coax her onto the footstool. Once she did it the first time, she never forgot, it was easy.
I'm thinking of putting in a doggie door, I hope it's that easy getting them to go in and out it.

But, you have cats, I don't know about training cats, it's been my experience that cats train people. Lol.

I just re-read this, and remembered the best nights of sleep I had in my life were on my kids trampoline. It would be so hot in the house, and we didn't have air conditioning. I would toss and turn, and finally one night, I grabbed a pillow and a blanket, and my dog, and went out there.
Something about the way you are supported and suspended, and the night air and sounds, ahhhhh, I miss that trampoline!

LOL Gypsee.. Reminds me of camping. Something about sleeping in the great outdoors that's oh so refreshing.

And as for the doggie door thing.. I think they are great, but I think I've watched America's funniest home video's too many times. They have that one episode where the racoon comes in the doggie door and eats the cat food...funny as hell...

Sleep with Lots of pillows, couple of blankets- light heavy what ever not fussed, a light can be on or off, feet over the bottom edge of the bed, blanket over face, usually fall asleep while on my left side then wake up to find myself on my back and the pillows all over the place. Waking up with all this mess is another story! Lmao. . . Now what? ;-)
