Exactly I even typed the following:
"Why the hell does this forum section has to be divisive!?????
This wreaks of negative Eristic energy.
Can't we get away from the "I am right ,and you're wrong....it's my way or no way" mentality?
How is this Global Unity? It's not even National Unity.
I am just tired of people complaining, bickering on each side of the political spectrum to the point that I don't want to have to do with either side.
I don't care for Republicans,and I don't care for Democrats.
I am liberal though. I can't see myself being a conservative.
I would appreciate people stop painting people with certain political beliefs in the same brush. I don't care if you're a Democrat,Republican,Independent,Green Party,or whatever.
I am sick and tired of the generalizing. "
This what I got for a response:
"Glaucus, you are a prime example in a racist voting block who voted for O'Bomber at a 95% rate because he's black. If whites had voted for McCain at a 95% clip, you'd claim racism.
You claim to be a Liberal but you voted for a far left radical Marxist Socialist who is in no way, a Liberal.
Your real intent here is to stop the well deserved criticism of O'Bomber...and that in itself is not a Liberal trait, it's Illiberal.

I never voted for Obama because he's part Black. I didn't vote for him as a Black person. I voted for him as part of the many liberals that voted for him. I voted him for him because I wanted Change and it had nothing do with change of race in the oval office.
I was one of only 2.4 percent of the US population that identified as more than one race on the 2000 Census.
I was one of only 5 percent of the US population that identified as more than one race on the very recent 2010 Census.
I identified as Black,White,Hispanic, and Native American on both Censuses. They are the only Censuses that allowed people to identify as more than one race.
Therefore, I don't identify as just Black. It's wrong to include me into a Black voting block.
I don't believe that it is a racist voting block. A vast majority of blacks are traditional Democrats since the Civil Right Act was passed on July 2, 1964.
I would never claim racism if 95 percent of whites voted for McCain.
Also the election of Barack Obama doesn't mean that racism still doesn't exist. He is not all Black either. Unlike all the other "Black" presidential candidates, he has a white parent. His white mother and black father married and had him in Hawaii when over 30 other states in the United States had laws against race mixing, and those laws were struck down on June 12, 1967. I was only born 4 years after that. Also, he has no African American slave roots like his wife, Michelle does. Therefore,he doesn't have the history of "Black Anger" connected to slavery and Jim Crow segregation history.
President Obama has not been running the country as far left Marxist. If anything, he has been running the country as a centrist. Some even say that he is not much different from Bush.
