I didn't list all who affected me... just the names that take me back that I don't see much anymore other than in archived threads. ♥ There are many special names who are still here (Zala for example) and AG... hippichick... the list is long.

I know what you mean MM, Yes the list can go on and on, and still does...

Just the first luminous faces I saw when I walked through the LL door.

Good one Randall!

...belgz was having a rift (or was playing a prank on the Astrology forum) with some other character which people at the time were saying was her, and there was some typing of "i" as "y" or something like that... I can't remember. I think there was some Turkish typing involved...

Anyway, this made me laugh so much that I had to join. Ha!

LOL that is so funny. Bipolun and I became friends after all of it. Actually I am really good friends with his wife and we've been friends since those years. I think that was back in end of 2006 through mid 2007. I have to find some of those funny threads. By the way when I was typing during March 2007 and October 2007 I was on a long holiday overseas and the keyboard was in turkish so that is why it was coming up different but I couldnt see that till after I came back to Australia

I don't know why people thought I would insult myself like that. But he was honestly so funny and original that it made me laugh. I remember me and PDF back then were thinking who is this guy HA HA HA HA...

I think I found LL from google as well maybe about 7 years ago now. Prior to Belgz my username was something else but I cant remember it now. I think it was pussycat or something :/

See back in those days the threads wern't getting closed at every corner and we had a laugh. People eventually sorted it out. Now it is so strict. I hate rules *sighs*

belgz - It's the second thread, in your second post.. My old nick was CoralFrequency

I know what you mean that things seemed a lot less tense. Maybe it is because of transits to the LL chart.

at the above posts from belgz. I wasn't around so much at that point, but I did see that Bipolun thread.

*edited (I'll edit these out later.) I miss them here, too.

I've seen a few more ex-members posting comments to another member, on FB. I've been wondering how future_uncertain is.

I'm amazed: I think I've posted more here in the past year, than I did in my previous seven years.

I think Gooberlily left before I really started to spend much time here. I do remember seeing her when I first signed up, and I ran across her posting on another board in 2003 - a board that stella polaris moved on to (she mentioned it here, and I googled it).

N_w did marry Gooberlily, and has been living in New York State, I think. I was surprised when he added me on Facebook, because we aren't really friends. Gooberlily was sweet and interesting - I wish I'd been able to get to know her better.

Oh wow!
We should have an LL-relationships - thread, and see how many actually worked out.

I don't think anyone else got married.
But I'm never with the program - so what do I know?

:edit: ohhh Pidaua married Bear - but he was not on LL previously.. so maybe that doesn't count *shrug*

The original Lindagoodman.net site was very commercialized. Crystal Bush started selling all kinds of things with Linda's name on it--like face cream. It just didn't sit right with me. Plus, they didn't support some of Linda's beliefs. I was actually banned at one time for talking about a Linda Goodman topic on a Linda Goodman site where Linda Goodman devoted an entire chapter to said topic in Star Signs (immortality). How insane is that!?! I was unbanned (and eventually became friends with Gregory), but I still never felt at home there. I started Lindaland with the intent to model the Forums closely after Linda's beliefs. I also wanted to encourage free expression, which was stifled at the original site. I didn't expect Lindaland to grow; it was just a haven for several ousted members from LG.net and a few others who migrated. Lindaland began to grow and grow. We actually used to have to prune every few months to keep the size down on the server, so this site would have been massive if we had all of those original posts. We no longer have to prune.
