I love the smell of wood, as well. I like to hang around the garage, after my Dad's been working out there (something he doesn't get to do much anymore, due to work).

* My problems with tonsillitis disappeared (from what I remember), after I got a scare: I used to deal with it four times per year, until the doctor put me on the list for surgery. I remember seeing the envelope, panicking, opening it, and calling Mum, asking her to not make me go in... I had a trip to France lined up the following week (school trip - we were in England), so I used that as an excuse as well. She let me go to France, and I stopped having problems.

* I had a similar problem with verrucas, one time - as did my sister. They wouldn't go away, they hurt and needed to be burned out, according to the doctor. In the morning, on the day of the appointment to have them burned out, they were still there, still hurting. The talk of burning, stinging, itching, had me freaking out (inwardly - I can be such a chicken), but I went to the appointment in the evening, anyhow. I climbed up onto the table, stretched out on my stomach, and cringed/gritted my teeth, waiting for it... only to hear those magic words: "There's nothing there."

Apparently, scaring the crap out of me makes me all better.

At first, I read that as "working out" & was impressed and intrigued by your dad's natural body odor.

Teasel I like the thoughts of you scaring yourself cured.
I mean, not the scared part, but the cured part.
That is so cool.
Could of saved myself 18 operations if I learned that trick!!

MoonWitch, you too?
See Lara and my posts about doing that too!

AG
Yes, the eyebrow "wave"! Me too!

Jane
I detest phones too and avoid them as much as possible.
Oh yes! Wood smells!
I love Frankincense and Myhrr because they have that burning pine wood
I had to have reconstructive surgery on my left elbow, was in traction a month, a cast for nearly a year, and several years before it worked normally.
Now I can flip it over in a reverse way which looks weird.

teasel
I have had similar such healings too!
Wonderful!

ScorpioSMR Wow!
So many things we have in common!
To quote you on the things we have in common:
quote:

I avoid phones like the plague.

I seem to attract cats into my life who know how to pleasure themselves with tongue and Paw. (no Idea why.)

I squeak when I sneeze. (from my mouth....lol)

I was born with both male and female parts.

I can sleep peacefully outside in the rain.

I practiced speaking horse when I lived on a farm, now when i stand at the fence and call to any herd of horses they call back and come running to me.

Thunderstorms make me incredibly aroused.

Crunchberry is my favorite cereal.

quote:
I slept under a tree every night for two years in the oregon mountains.
Well, not exactly that for me;
but have slept probably a few years total, when counting all the months to date I have slept in and or under trees.

quote:
Spiders are my friends.

I am not fond of them in my home, but love the black and yellow garden spiders and think Tarantulas are cool!

Sandalwood is a good smell. I suppose I like trees themselves as much as their scent.

I miss a paper clip. It's not the wire kind. It's the clasp kind. There's one odd colored one I used to have, and I miss it.

When it's cold i sleep with a mircowave heated little pillow with cherry stones in it.

When i can't sleep i'm wondering to cut the pillow open to count the cherry stones.

I don't know that I can explain that one to satisfaction, but it was a more thought-provoking clasp than my standard red and blue clasps. I probably accidentally left it in a file or something.

I am a person to go hunt down my pen, too, if someone should make away with it.

Same here. I have a pen I love that I will track down in a snowstorm if need be.

Your weirdness is like mine. Remember the tooth brushing? LOL

I remember AG being so bummed when they stopped making his brand of pen. Was it a pen, or the refills? Now I am having trouble remembering.

Yeah, I don't know if they stopped, but I had trouble finding them. My work actually had those pens recently, so I got a couple. I also saw them on my trip to the East coast, so I grabbed a pack. It is nice to have them back.

When I was little I slept with a teddy bear. That one got thrown away from being chewed up by the dog. So Mom bought me another bear that I had till I was 23. My at the time husband convinced me that I needed to throw it away <jerkoid>.
And I continue to need something to sleep with be it a stuffed animal or one of those squishy pillows. Yes, I admit to hijacking one of my son's stuffed animals...

It was more a thing about toilets and being sick or having to brush my teeth in the kitchen sink. Can't do it!!!

Yeah, it was weird. We had these highlighters that were so rad, and now Staples does not carry them. BOO. I have to suffer with the junk Hi-Liters that run out too quickly and dry up.
