why thank you pire! i just finished reading his "LIFE" which makes a really good read apart from a few side trips down macho lane. it always surprises me when he comes out with his old-fashioned side, but a big part of him is just oldstyle english working class... i will have a gander for sure!! No I haven't seen johnny be goode, My rock culture is small, I'll have to.the second link is an interview recorded at the New York library, so somehow it has to work. this link is a video posted on the NY library website. I hope it works IP: Logged |

hail hail is a good film. helen mirren's husband directed and didn't paper over any blemishes...at the end richards looks like he's been through a wringer...but happy!it was the youtube link that didn't work. i'll be back later to check out the others. to the johnny b goode vid...can't find it now! i'll have another search... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8LN29JVV I am downloading it now so I still don't know the language but I bet it's in english, subtitled in spanish since I found it on a blog in spanish with the mention (vos) johnny b. goode part 2... is it a film? cause I seem to find it only as one song? edit: yes indeed it is in english with spanish subtitles. the sound is crap. so if you want to enjoy the gig in the doc, you can watch it here in better quality.

there was a great video made awhile ago, in two parts, the backing track was a live version of johnny b good, it was a tribute to keith and made up of spliced clips of him onstage mostly...very very well done. showed the dancer that he is very nicely, some great clips included. i'm not seeing it now it may have been "removed for copyright reason" as most of the best are after awhile it seems! good luck hunting! can't remember what part I was tho!!IP: Logged |
