Currently at the top of my "Would move to" places is Colorado. Never got a good visit in there, but I think I would like it.

Um, Probably about an hour. Just up Cimarron heading west up the highway towards Woodland Park, and then a little further West.

It's a beautiful drive up the pass, through the mountains, too.

The mountains are west, directionally from The Springs, just fyi.

Maybe one of these days, I'll make the drive and take pictures for Lindaland of Cripple Creek.

If he's on the Christian channel on the radio in the morning, maybe! I just listened to one of his youtube videos and his voice doesn't sound too familiar... unless he's much older now.

I'm here tonight, out of habit; I've left quietly, and come back, over the past eight years. A handful of people are still around, from my first year here (Juni, MoonWitch, Pidaua/BearsArcher, Virgo Aries-Artist). I come back, because there have been some really good people here, and it's generally a nice place to be; there's one thread that comes to mind, was it earlier this year? One of my friends here, needed help, and was feeling very low, and people pitched in with help and love/concern. When another former (deceased) member was very sick, there was the same love and concern.

We are social creatures. We were made to need each other.
Sometimes,it feels like more of a curse than a blessing.
Often, it does lol
I, have felt alone, inside myself, for a long time.
On LL, I shared who I am was for the first time since I was a teen. I can do that more in my daily life, now .
I came out from walls of isolation i.e.trying to look perfect.

I want to go in more real life directions, now.
I want to play my guitar for hurting people, people in nursing homes, hospice, someone sick in their own home.

I think I can bring comfort to people cuz I have suffered a great deal with my loss.

That makes you someone to whom people can unburden.

I am seeing the "blessings" that came out of it now.
I can go places where other people cannot cuz I can look at someone and tell them things most people can't and never will.
They feel safe with me cuz of that.

God is using LL to put me back together, like Humpty Dumpty.
I will, always ,be here, God willing, but there are other things for me to do, too.

LL was the root for me---LL's love .

Thank you, teasel. I read through the links that you listed. And, I really like the four agreements link. That was also a very nice topic.

Charmainec,

Hopefully, I can take some more up around Linda Goodman's town. I think that would be a really cool thing to share here.

That waterfall is on Cheyenne Mountain, in Colorado Springs, just a minute or two from the top.

Are there cheap hotels around there where you live, PS? I'm thinking your town would be ideal for the first Lindaland Reunion. And then we can all carpool to Cripple Creek and tour Linda's house. Maybe in Spring 2011?

Randall,

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! I will definitely get a report to you of all the local hotels that I think are reasonable, and any and all tourist attractions that people might want to see while they're here!

I'm already asking myself what to wear?

Yes, LL is addictive. This passion is becoming an obsession.

It's about time i'm having a very serious talk with myself. And I mean that!

Maybe, we are addicted cuz humans have a space that ONLY other humans can only fill with love and connection.
What do you think?
