Love the quotes Juni

------------------
“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”

I stuck my hand in the mailbox today, and something flew out. My first thought was a butterfly, but it's too cold for that. And the wings flapped against my hand. I think it was a bat. Scary!

Charmaine, you find the best pictures ever.

Last summer, mid day, I went to open the screen door and a bat was on the handle. Scared the dickens out of me when it raised up and fluttered off.

Thanks Juni

This makes me think of bat omens,in some cultures bats have good and negative meanings. The general meaning is rebirth though.

I always check my mailbox before I stick my hand in there..in case there is something creepy crawly lurking inside

I peek into my mailbox too. I`ve never found anything but there`s always the "what if factor"

I love watching the bats dip and glide in their evening air show ... right where they belong, in the air!

Planting lots of flowers and making a WILD garden- truly WILD... the whole back of my yard is going jungley wild, whatever grows will grow, I'm just adding color with ground cover flowers and creepers.
Yesterday LOTS of butterflies!!! wooh! and dragonflies!!!!
There is life in my yard again! LOVE IT

My plan to attract them actually works, give them a home and they come! I expect to see cacooons soon.

A dragonfly keeping dry on my washing line....

I couldn't capture the buttefly with my camera- a bit too quick!

I'll take a pic of the butteflies all over my flowers when the rain stops!

I also took a video, you can hear the rain
