How does the current one look? It's silver but appears as a light blue. Aside from the color, does everyone like the categories?------------------ "Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." Harriet Van Horne IP: Logged |

Can you match the yellow/gold top line where the banners are to match the dividing bars?------------------ What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world is immortal"~ - George Eliot IP: Logged |

If you need help finding the code of a color, Adobe's kuler app might help. It gives the digits to the color at the bottom of a color selection.IP: Logged |

ohh like the categories!------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. Randall, What if you were to do the upgrade but still keep this site going as a testament to the history? What I mean is, link this LL to the new UBB Lindaland? You could close this site so that no one could continue to post yet have the free site with a "sticky" on each forum that will link to old posts. People could refer to those posts by copying the URL into their new thread / post. It would allow you to upgrade and still preserve the original LL. ETA... This site could refer people to the new site and the new site can always reference this site as the true first site that evolved... IP: Logged |

By upgrading he would not lose the history, only the poor little helpless smilies. It is only through switching that we would lose the history. Upgrading is safe- except for the smilies, they are in trouble! Old posts will show and "X" where the smilies used to be. ------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. The smilies gone will mean some of the character gone from the posts... I understand your concern. But I could live with it. Does the upgrade you are referring to offer Avatar function? If so, that is a pretty considerable trade off! I think. Oh and you can't stop me from donating...mwhahahahhahahh ------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. Now that we can search, I'm less inclined to upgrade. The search was my main reason for wanting to over the years. Plus, there could be insane glitches if I upgrade, since so many upgrades have been created since this version. I'd rather try to hack this version and add avatars.------------------ "Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." Harriet Van Horne IP: Logged |

So, I had a thought. This should be applauded, in and of itself. J/K If you cannot reset the beginners astro forum to be used without a password, can you change the forums around? Like for example, take teen spirit and put it in Beginners astros spot. I don't know that the teen forum is used much and if it is, perhaps they would have more patience putting a password in every time they post. Cause that is exactly what stops me from posting there...
