yeah but you hang out with wrestlers so gaudy ear rings are the status quo.

Pink isn`t for everyone but does look handsome on some men.

Yeah, a guy has to be comfortable with his masculinity to wear pink, so it exhibits confidence. Any guy can wear pink, but you can't fake confidence, so some guys clearly shouldn't wear it. It's my second fave color (after purple). The wrestling universe has its own styles. The more gaudy, the better.

Randall, you used to say pink is the new black back in 2005 when Trump wore a pink shirt on a commercial once.

I'm not sure there's anything "new" about it anymore.

& baseball caps I was referring to are with the teams on them. The other brimmed caps are cool. I like shorter brimmed ones and have a couple myself.

SC, I agree your hubby did look great!

Yeah, okay, some guys can pull it off.

AG, oh yeah, that was a fun thread!! Not sure what it was titled....I think Melody started it.....

will check out the vid in a few...about to eat.

AG, thanks for sharing that - phenomenal artwork & music!

That would so be you and I if we lived in the dream house.

I didn't get to hear the music to it earlier. I don't have speakers at my desk. That was pretty neat, though. Would be great to have a warehouse to work in.

Ami, I have a pair of jeans so mutilated that each leg looks like they were slashed across in layers. People have tried to buy them.

AG, I agree. Now, i'm psyched to have a large room. But warehouse would be ideal. Could make bigger messes in it and not have to worry.

I think women can pull anything off. Socks and sandals (actually those slip-on shoes) are totally acceptable for females where I live. They can even wear men's clothes and sewn up boxers as shorts. Caps are actually a good preventative apparel, because cancer on the scalp is the one form of skin cancer that is almost always fatal.

Lonake, I did find this at fashion bean that fits the theme well . And, no I am not guilty

3. Accessories Faux Pas
Socks with sandals, over-accessorising, and pantyhose with peep-toed shoes? the list goes on! There are no hard and fast rules here but a good piece of advice – dress practically and appropriately for the occasion. Also know what colour suits you and colour synchronise your outfit with your accessories. Like Mademoiselle Coco Chanel famously said, “When accessorising, always take off the last thing you put on”. Who are we to contest her?

To me it is a sign of confidence when a heterosexual man wears pinks, and makeup and nail polish!
Oh yes, and earrings!
And confidence is uber sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When a straight guy has the balls to go against the male fashion stereotype and do his own thing, especially in an area where it's not totally accepted;
Well that is just hot!

Whether male or female, I think having your own style is key. Not looking like a wannabe. People pick up on that right away. Be original.

I agree Lexx... to a degree & confidence really can't be faked though. If someone is trying too hard to look like a rockstar and they are clearly not one & don't even have the attitude to go with it or play a musical intrument, you feel a little sorry for them and wonder what they are lacking inside.

I always did for the emo, goth kids that went over the top with the outer appearance. But knew most of them would grow out of it.

Just a personal opinion, but when youre trying so hard to look "different", but you look like all the rest of the high school kids......well...... ...lost.

I've known a few people that pull off a really flamboyant dress very well though . With them it's cool, because it started on the inside and they buck most fashion trends, make their own clothes, or find them at thrift shops, rarely shop at malls and put some very interesting outfits together. An Aries I used to work with comes to mind. Her style was unique to the extreme. Cool chick too.

Oh I totally agree with you!
It has to come from inside to be original,
to be "YOU" not some wannabe anything parroting and mimicking trying too hard to be cool different and all.
I am a character in person.
A mixture depending on my mood of various eccentric out of date looks!
However it works for me!
Anything from flamboyant old Hippie in leather and denim fringes and embroidered bell bottom fringed jeans (LOL, vintage or must make new copies) to crazy old Victorian or Gay Nineties ladies, big crazy hats with stuff piled on, like the Aunties in "Practical Magic", high buttoned shoes to boot and parasols!
Then there is also my lumberjack look, flannel shirts, dingo boots or such, suspenders.
Then my penchant for costumes too, from pirate to poet to artist, in big billowy shirts;
and many more guises, like saris and togas, and Asian themes from samauri to geisha.
It all depends on my mood!

Yeppers!
Was talking to a long time friend about not conforming to fashion of the times.
Basic gist of that is;
We are timeless, we are each unique, be true to you not the dictates of the present time you live in. Exude YOU the unique individual YOU are, not society's idea of what you should dress like, wear your hair like, no matter what your age, young or old!

Hey all you Egypt freaks, I found this,

http://www.zappos.com/product/7783631/color/385
It's gonna be sold out soon, if I made jewelry I'd replicate this it's so me. But at 200 it's a bit much..I guess they didn't make that many.
It's on their site for 30 more, http://noirjewelry.com/Necklaces
