Coffee I've said all I wanted to in that other thread. So you can go back to woman bashing now. I won't be there.You wanted to ruffle people's feathers and it didnt work out as planned. No one is bullying you. We shared our strong opinions. You seem to have one too. Maybe some people feel bullied by you. I dont, but some might. Most of what I have to say, was said by the intelligent women here. So, i'm done with this thread too.  IP: Logged |

people disagreeing with each other does NOT constitute "underhanded bullying"... i read your other post coffee and you were treated with far more respect by the members here than you would have been elsewhere... you, on the other hand, made the active choice to continue using inflammatory words to pick a fight... just walk away...IP: Logged |

Onto the subject matter at hand. What is to be done about the obvious bullying that goes on in this thread. I mean in general. What will be done about this?
Apart from lots of talk and no action.Are the mods scared of upsetting people, or even talking to mods who may be doing the bullying? No specifics, just plain old bullying. Sure everyone wants this cleared up! IP: Logged |

Hi there,I'm quite new to the site but was reading for quite a while before I started to post. Surely one of the difficulties in answering your initial question, is who should define bullying? The webmaster? The Mods? You, Me? We all have different opinions on what constitutes bullying vs lively debate, so how are the powers that be, to determine which ones really need to be controlled and which are either self-induced or just strong opinions that clash? My personal opinion comes from a great old Bucks Fizz song: 'if you can't stand the heat, keep out of the kitchen!' i.e. don't enter the emotive or controversial topics if you aren't strong enough to put up with opposing viewpoints and writing styles that don't gel with yours. If you find half way in to a topic that the discussion is not going how you had hoped it would, bail out. Its only a discussion and its only an internet forum. That wasn't aimed specifically at anyone, it is my general opinion on the subject. Regards

If we are going to honestly discuss bullying, then we must discuss instigating. When one submits a hot button topic and intentionally seeks a reaction with a cheesy smile, one is instigating. So poke someone in the eye and they react and cry I`m hurt and it is considered bullying. Is that what you`re saying coffee? Should have the thread been closed because of instigating? Would that have stopped the perceived bullying? Instigate/bully. Where to draw the line?

Also, Juni,when you asked me if I channeled Jesus ,that was done to harass me,too, cuz if you are a Christian you should know that Our Lord is not referred to as being channeled .
Also,when that vicious thread about me and Adam was erased you "asked" me twice if I wanted you to put it BACK up.

Also Coffee, if you want to continue to refer to me (what you think of me) in your own underhanded way, then I will be responding to your posts.Just to let you know. I know that's what you want so then you can point and cry 'bully'. But if you would really not like me to respond then stop repeating yourself and what you said in the other thread. Then, we will have a deal. I think we all hear what you are trying to say, but only one other person, your friend, seems to agree with you. You are doing alot of projecting in both threads. It does need addressed because you repeatedly let me know you have a problem with me. I bear you no ill feelings and would like to see it worked out.
That`s why I said e mail me. I will not let this perceived problem persist and litter threads all over LL.

Also,there were some very harsh words spoken in the split up thread and by the same token, some instigating.
