Oh, you don't remember, pixie? It was on some web-based realtime chat LL had going for half a minute. I didn't 'make fun' of the name, I said (in one of my great Lunar Sag too-honest moments) that I thought the name was ugly. Yes, ugly was the word I used. I was referring to the visual look of that particular arrangement of alphabetic letters and/or the sound produced when spoken -- nothing to do with the child it represented. You had an immediate and severely negative reaction, basically told me to go get f****d, signed off, and never spoke to me again.

Me being me, after so much time passes, I'm completely unable to dredge up any resentment over it. But I have missed your friendship.

Seven year club, here, as well.

I haven't posted much in a long time, but this is a place I come back to again and again. Not as frequently as in the past, but I like to revisit. Some lovely souls around here and always some interesting food for thought. I had my reasons for "checking out," but I'm never completely gone...

Yeah, the title of this string should have been "Nine Years in LL", but I guess I was doing my math in a hurry that day.

Nice to see you, teasel though I hardly know you.

I recognize your nick from way back, too, future_uncertain. Better than the "7 Year Club" is the "had to check out of LL, at least for a while" club. Seems we're all expendable here, except for a certain ostrich I know. He must have something terrible over the webmaster's head. I'll figure it out eventually.
