Who among us is not, at times, unlovable? And are not these the very times when we secretly yearn and need to be loved the most? Oh! the magic of receiving kindness in return from one to whom we have been unkind...the miracle of hearing, when we have said: 'I'm sorry I said such cruel things,' the answer: 'What cruel things? I didn't hear them.'

I'm not quite there yet with everyone, but that's usually how I aim to live. My mother was surprised after we had a huge fight, a couple of months ago, that I was still speaking to her. About thirty minutes later, I walked into her room to ask her something, and she said as much to me at the time. I told her that that surprised me - she's only known me my whole life - and that there were no enemies here, even if neither of us had shifted our stances. I love her, and know that she means well.

The only thing mandatory is acceptance, tolerance, and kindness. Which is what I said if you go back and read my words.

Good luck, Randall. The Easter Beagle is coming and I have more important things to do.

We do not care if you passionately disagree with something someone else has posted unless you can address it in Linda's way. Acceptance. Tolerance. The Lion laying down with the Lamb. Gently share the way Linda taught or find another place where you can do things YOUR way... or read Linda's work until you understand.

We will accept anyone who is willing to learn and grow. If you want to push your ideas onto others, you will be tolerated but not respected.(Again, I am NOT talking to YOU, PS or Ami, specifically, but to All generally.)

If you want to fight with others, it is accepted that we all make mistakes and fall from what we strive for... which is the tolerance Linda taught... but learn from it, apologize with all the genuineness in your heart and soul and try again another day. Find others who fall/fail less and learn from them. Respect their methods and learn everything you can.

Keep Linda's spirit alive. Keep LINDA alive, otherwise it is YOU who do fail to respect this place and her webmaster... whoever YOU, who do not know and learn from Linda, may be.

I haven't dismissed you, PS. I was just starting to write a post in which I'd stated that I don't think there is an 'in' group, only a perceived one.

I think I'm leaving the thread now.

PS, like I said, you don't have to feel anything about Linda--you and several hundred others here. But some of us do care deeply for her.

That is not the only thing you said, Mystic Melody.

Thank you for your original truth. I completely understand why I have not been accepted here...

I am leaving this thread.

I disagree that there's an "in" group. If there is, I'm evidently not a member of it. I think it may be perceived, as Teasel stated. And why do you want to be "accepted" by some group anyway, PS? I see you more as an individualistic personality.

I don't think that really accurately portrays Linda's actual personality.

THIS is exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not going to debate every tiny imperfect way I expressed myself to suit you!! I don't care about you at all, other than in the love and accept one another philosophy of Linda that you feel so contentious toward. Don't give a sh!t, girl, and don't intend to spend my days being the brunt of your fire or be forced to defend people I love who are the brunt of your fire. You DO need an outlet. For Christ's sake, there ARE CHILDREN DYING in this world. PEOPLE ARE BEING SLOWLY POISONED IN MIND AND BODY. The world is becoming a war zone and a police state. Your personal power issues are NOT the purpose of this board. Grow the **** up.

I read what MM said as to mean to convey your position peacefully. Though Linda did have a fiery temper and could cut people to shreds with her letters she would write when she saw an injustice! One time, Linda was angry with her true love, and she shattered the china doll that he gave her--the doll she had cherished and named. Afterwards, a teary-eyed and remorseful Linda attempted to glue every piece back together...apologizing to the doll as she tried and tried and failed in her futile attempt. So sad. Being a Ram must be more difficult than I can imagine.

Everyone should think before going too far and breaking the china doll. Not talking about in this string, but just in general when posting. All of Linda's tears and painful remorse couldn't fix the china doll. Sometimes the cut is too deep--the damage too permanent. You can't glue a china doll back together again. You just can't. Linda's jealous rages cost her the love of her Twin, Robert Brewer. And Linda sharing all of her pain with us in Gooberz is what made me feel like I knew her...even though she and I never met.

“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”

Yeah, Mars is a powerful warrior Planet. But, luckily for all of us, we also have our charts tempered with Venus. Venus is ruled by the number 6. Mars is a 9. When you add Venus and Mars together, you will always get 6. Love always wins out over war. Without fail. It can be no other way.

No, I can feel the quiet intolerance and lack of empathy coming from your direction... of course you will amount it to ego play and immaturity... You have only your own human perspective. You have no idea, MM. Seriously.

As far as you not caring, I realized this, as well. But, as a Libra you should also be more responsible for the effect your words have on the public, and me. As what you said was not only threatening but hurtful and offensive.

Should I not admit to hurt? Because, if I do, it's ego play, right? No... you will not acknowledge my feelings, because I do not matter outside of your own accepted sphere.

You are no better than me.

And, no, Randall. I don't want to be accepted by their group.

I want to do what's fair, and I want to see fairness in all directions, consistently...

No personal attacks, right?

I hope so.

Consistent fairness has always been my goal. When applied to unpopular speech, there's an uproar. When restricting majority opinion, people shout censorship. It truly takes magnanimous effort to teeter totter on that thin line...called fairness.

I walk this tightrope every day here--sometimes anguishingly so--and when I fall off to one side, some are there with swords unsheathed...but others are there to catch me, and I thank you.

Present.

Linda would constantly mention the Lion and the Lamb in her work. She mentioned it in the Leo-Aries relationship in love signs, if I'm not mistaken.

Mystic Melody- I do hope you come back. I like you Don't ask why, I don't even know. I just do

Oh Mel,

There is not a word sad enough to describe the way I feel.

Know that we love you Mel, you've been part of this family for a long time and we're going to miss you like crazy
until you come back, ok? Little break right?

How do people who don't read or study Linda Goodman's work ever find us?
Linda Goodman is what we have in common
I like to think of us as an enlightened group who finds wisdom and insight into human nature through Linda's work.
