Ah, yes, Washington DC has quite the bad reputation (and not just the politicians), and maybe it deserves it. I've heard the most amazing stories about that area, too, like a sex shop there that sells cages for sex slaves and can't keep them in stock! I like to think that's an exaggeration...

Was just going through channels and saw that an episode is on, i'm not going to watch it but stopped in for a minute.

The mother was putting fake eyelashes on the girl (most of them do) and gushing over how preeettty she was now and called the father in to exclaim about her too. Then he says something about how unbelievable that a 3 year old can look like a 16 year old!!! As though that's a good thing.

Most of them also get spray tans and fake nails and i've seen a couple mothers plucking their little girl's eyebrows.

anyway, i'm not going to watch it anymore. Maybe it will go off the air - even though that won't solve the problem or stop it.

sunshine, i saw the prostitute Pretty Woman one and the Dolly Parton one. Disturbing. The last one had a girl dressed up as Niki Minaj (?) i guess she's a singer. One of the judges commented that it was a bit of an inapproprate choice for a little girl.

Most of the mothers say they will do anything to win - whatever it takes so their daughter wins, which in their minds means doing something more outrageous or shocking than has been done before.
