For me, it is doing psychic readings and charts. I lose myself in some magical world where there is order to the Universe. I love it!

Insomnia sucks. Lol. Restless minds, I suppose.

sketching, cooking, hiking, sex, great coffee, road trips, great films (def not TV), steamy showers, swimming in the nude.

Oh, yes, I love the sauna! I'll spend about an hour there, getting out about 2-3 times to take a quick cold shower before getting back in. There's very little that's anywhere as invigorating and letting me know I'm alive as that. I always do that after my workout, too, so I'm pretty calm and pleasantly tired when I go in so that my mind isn't racing while it's happening, so it can be considered another escape.

A warm fire, a furbaby on my lap and gardening catalogs to dream away the winter....

Lately it's meditating.

Easy go-to is art.

I'd say best escape from the world would be nightly dreaming though.

I've been snuggling with the dogs, and watching the first season of the Gilmore Girls with my mother, this week. We finished it tonight, and I think I need to order in the second season; it gave me a much-appreciated escape, even if it did keep me from getting on the treadmill when I needed to (it's downstairs, away from the TV and DVD player).

It used to be art. I've been going to bookstores, but have been getting more antsy, when I can't find something that inspires me. I'm hoping for warmer weather soon, so that I can get back outside more often.
