They improved Lori tonight, although what I saw of the ending... it cut off in the tent, just as she sat behind her husband, and pointed out again, that Shane thinks she's his.I hate love triangles, I really do. Or whatever it is, with Andrea in there, too. I was hoping they wouldn't kill Shane off, but then he went weird on Lori again. I think they were idiots for sleeping together, when so many people had died, zombies were everywhere and there was apparently no birth control (although I know of one baby who was conceived thanks to a condom breaking). Maybe they weren't thinking, but I would think that I'd either lose my mind (like Shane) or be hyper-aware of any risks. Who is the girl on the bed? Is she the youngest one of those on the farm? When I let the dogs out, I stuck my head outside and half expected to see zombies. *shiver* I haven't felt that way since my parents first bought this place, and I was watching Halloween. Just a complete guess, but I bet in the season finale at the end of the show Rick and Shane fight and Shane is about to kill Rick, and then Rick's son shoots Shane. Glad Lori didn't die.IP: Logged |

I don't know about the exact circumstances, but apparently that's about how Shane bites it in the comics.IP: Logged |

The finale is supposed to be really good, so maybe that's why they say it will be satisfying. IP: Logged |

Did anyone notice that Shane cut his hand with the same knife he used to stab the walker in the head? If even a scratch can infect, then I guess Shane will be infected. Or was it just a mistake (blooper)? Maybe that's why Rick's son kills him. Or does Shane even get killed? Because they put out lots of disinformation.IP: Logged |

I wondered about the way in which they clean their weapons. :/I knew that Rick wouldn't leave him (Shane, or the boy), but I think what they're doing to that boy is cruel. They should have shot him when he was stuck on the fence, if they were going to just dump him all alone somewhere, due to not being able to trust him. I could relate to the girl, even though under very different circumstances. I liked what Andrea said to Lori, but I also understand Lori's side of things, and that she cared enough to stop the girl from harming herself - I see both sides. When the guys started fighting in that parking lot, I thought, "IDIOTS!" When are they going to learn that they can't do that in any sort of area like that? Beat the crap out of each other, exhaust themselves, and then how are they supposed to pay attention to their surroundings, deal with anything that crops up, and get home safely to the people they are fighting over leading. Enough with the measuring contest! If Shane didn't like it, he should have left, and that's it. IP: Logged |

Also, the amount of fighting that goes on in these shows, the people involved should be walking around with messed up noses, missing teeth, etc. It just gets on my nerves, but I hate the posturing. IP: Logged |

That, and they both had copious amounts of zombie...matter...splashed on them after accruing a number of cuts and scrapes.

I haven't watched this yet. Did anyone else? I haven't seen "Once" either; got home late, and crawled off to bed in my clothes (jeans and everything - not comfortable).IP: Logged |

It made me cry. The cinematography was beautiful in places. And, people changing into zombies with no bites. I don't understand why the men killed in the bar didn't change into zombies, though. IP: Logged |

I don't know. I'll have to see if it's still on the on-demand channel. I couldn't tell if Lori was being sincere with Shane, or if she intended for the showdown. Putting down her own husband to Shane? She could have just said that it must be hard, apologized, and left it at that. Also pointing out that she didn't know who the father was? Seems dirty, knowing that he was unstable. IP: Logged |

Yep, Tease, it's the finale. What happened on the preview for next week is that Rick was explaining what happened to Shane while they stood in the open field, and suddenly a mob of zombies started running towards them. I feel that Lori was just apologizing from the heart. I hope they clarify next week on whether it is airborn or has mutated or what is going on.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." This person echoed my thoughts: quote: Wow. Lori might as well have loaded Shane's gun and pointed it at Rick herself. She heard Rick say that Shane was "turning over a new leaf," and decided she wouldn't give him the opportunity. Instead, she trotted her skinny butt over to the windmill to "thank" Shane for selflessly saving her and Carl, remind him that she's carrying his baby, and then express some possible reciprocation of his feelings. Jesus. She knew exactly what she was doing. She's been emotionally manipulating Rick and Shane for weeks now, simply because she can't decide who she wants to be with - but she wants to be with the winner. Congratulations, Lori, for forcing your husband to murder his best friend in front of your son (who then has to kill walker-Shane) because (a) you're the most awful wife in the world and (b) you're an even worse mother. What is it that she does besides laundry and generate high school drama? Good lord, I hate this woman. I hope Andrea pummels her when she finds out how Lori set Shane up. Why oh why didn't Rick and Shane realize how she's been manipulating them and kill her instead?

Shane's door didn't swing (i.e. he was unhinged). He had to be taken down. At least Rick gave him a chance to snap back into reality. I don't think Lori is to blame.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I remember one of the show's creators saying something about how the audience would really grow to hate Lori. She knew he was unhinged, so he wouldn't process what she was saying as a stable man might. We're going to have to agree to disagree. IP: Logged |

Well, so far I like her. I think she was being sincere and trying to get him to come back to reality, as well as just apologizing for her own absolution. Somehow the virus is dormant in some people until they die; it may have been making Shane grow mad.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
