What did you think of...Lori's reaction to Shane's death, the helicoptor (signifies hope), the mystery person with the zombies on a leash (a female), and the last scene showing the prison?

I didn't realize that was a prison. Do you think that's where they will hole up next?

I shouldn't still be up, but I wanted to watch it tonight, and it recorded the later showing. I think it's weird without Shane, and that the episode would have worked better for me if I'd watched last week's one beforehand. I went out this afternoon, so I only watched a little bit of the marathon.

Lori was the one to tell Rick that Shane was unhinged. I was surprised by the temper that Rick showed, but I think it's normal under the circumstances. I think it's just a shock to actually have it play out. Maybe she realized that her feelings were stronger for him than she'd previously thought. I also think that hearing her son put him down, was what got to her even more. Rick didn't say that he saved him from Walker Shane. We finally get back to reality for the show, though.

I felt so bad for the ones who were killed. I think the hooded person is a character called Michonne, that was mentioned on TWOP. They wanted her to show up and hook up with Daryl (who I love - I would trust him over any of them, right now).

Daryl has always been my favorite character! he is the best.

tonight was good, though i think the best episode of this season was the one when Dale died, hands down. I can't help but think the third season is going to turn really weird, with Machonne,the prison etc..just seems like the story line is going to get real strange and screwy next season.

Season 3 is going to be like the last couple of episodes--just a fast-paced wild and crazy ride. Yep, it's a prison, which they will see when daylight hits. They will probably go there for supplies and ammo.

Does anyone think there's more going on between Daryl and Carol? She's got serious goo goo eyes for him and in the comic she goes after Rick and gets rejected, so maybe Daryl's her "man of honour"?

I love this show so much and am already going through withdrawal. Sooo glad I came across this thread.
