I cannot express in words how much I loved this video. I was only halfway through it and my heart was gushing with love and just awesomeness and I wanted to cuddle each and every single one of them and tell them how grateful I am that they get it.

My reaction would be strange in an ideal world but in the world we live in...

I posted this vid over FB and this guy had the audacity to say that I'd miss them if they all suddenly stopped and when I told him no it wouldn't be the case, I get told that he feels "pity" for them! Also, it is "harmless" and should be taken as a "compliment" because think of those poor women whom no one harasses!

I feel pity for him who thinks that he knows more about the situation than me, a woman who has actually faced it and continues to face it everyday. Sorry dude but I don't need a man to tell me what to think. Needless to say, person on the internet has been deleted and blocked.

I face a lot of stupidity and plain ignorance every single day because I wasn't born with a penis and I'm not letting some over-opinionated person invade my life with their own issues.

I think many writers use particular techniques to be as persuasive as possible.. which is FINE - because it is their prerogative. But it is likewise your prerogative to develop some critical skills!!

This bothers me because - I really think it is important for people to be able to ANALYSE a view or a perspective -before they simply jump on the bandwagon and acquire that view. Because no matter what the view is... there will always be other papers and books out there that criticise that perspective...
Before you decide to GO all OUT and change your religion or your take on life -- because of something you read (eg "he's just not that into you")..... you should at least take a peek at the criticism *first* you know?
So that you understand both sides.
