Why don't you bow out as two people have called you on your stuff? Lonake is a long time member here who is very respected. She should not have to go through this kind of stress from someone! Aquacheeka, I think you should drop it, now!------------------

I think you foment trouble Aquacheeka. I have walked away from your doing so. However, Lonake does NOT need to put up with it. She contributes a LOT to LL. So, please try not to agitate people for your own personal needs! ------------------

I am not saying you cause trouble --24/7 but you DO foment trouble. When you do, it is VERY hard to walk away and people should not have to. You should try not to cause trouble as it is not a good personal quality to have! Maybe, you can try to see what makes two Moderators--Lonake and myself--feel the same way. OK? Aquacheeka... "This individual" as you like to call Lonake... has been on LL for a long time. She has contributed a lot of interesting and helpful information. Everyone here finds her comments helpful, everyone respects her and likes her. I've never seen another poster take Lonake's comments so personally or call her tactless.
Maybe you are new to posting on online forums in general.. because there are many posters who TRULY are vicious and nasty. I'll find some links for you - with posters who were banned for *actual* nastiness.. so you can see the world of difference. As you just said yourself - you do not know the people here very well yet, since you only joined recently.
From an outside perspective - I think you are exaggerating and jumping to conclusions re: Lonake's personality.
You shouldn't be so quick to pass judgment.
I do like reading your posts (other than the ones directed at Lonake). You have not had any arguments with others as far as I have seen. It may well be your synastry, as Lonake just mentioned!
All I can say is -- From my own - very emotionally detached perspective here.. your reaction to Lonake seems irrational. I am just being honest with you. And I think you should basically drop it - and stick around ... see whether you like it here overall and take your time in forming opinions on others.
I am absolutely positive that you would really like Lonake and what she has to say if you read more of her posts, rather than focusing on a minority of posts which have unnecessarily offended you. IP: Logged |

I see quite a bit of favouritism here... I linked to a benign post I made today wherein Lonake started again with ME.... nothing said about it. Simply because I haven't been here as long doesn't mean that I am automatically in the wrong. I absolutely had a right yesterday, for instance, to say something when I was being called a hateful person for stating my opinion. I saw nothing being said about that. That is common schoolyard bullying and it's tolerated and even defended just because she is a mod. Whatever.IP: Logged |

Honestly, I shouldn't have to justify my statements to someone who's treated me in such a rotten manner as a consequence of her defensiveness. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. My mistake. Now I know for next time.IP: Logged |

I disagree that aquacheeka is intentionally causing trouble.
I think she has a very *irrational* issue with Lonake, for whatever reason - that she definitely needs to get over.
However I don't think she is a troll.
She has a genuine interest in astrology and I like most of her posts!IP: Logged |

Betty Boop I respect your opinion and I understand your motives (to restore the peace), but I *have* looked at quite a few of her posts and I simply don't like the tone. I think it's a little too "harsh" and judgy for my taste, (what you, Betty, called "blunt") so as I said before, I will attempt to steer clear and that is how I will deal with that. If that is not acceptable to you, then by all means, you guys can do what you want to do about it. But I absolutely will not apologize for having defended my opinions (when they were questioned and judged) and character (when called hateful). I did not get involved in the abortion argument wherein she got that thread shut down too but that was also an example that informed my opinion.IP: Logged |

I havent personally had problems with aquacheeka,she seems ok to me. And i would also just like to take this oppurtunity to say that if we are going to call people out ,than almost everyone is guilty,myself included,people take something the wrong way and verbally attack and a fight starts and mean things are said,we should all learn not to take things so personally and agree to disagree.IP: Logged |
