Any recommendations to watch? I just finished watching Lost, which I never watched once while it was on the air. I really liked it. Any recommendations for a good show to try?

Mad Men, Breaking bad are 2 shows that are still on TV that I enjoy..

I watched the whole show of LOST on netflix too. I loved that show!

Another one I really got into was Dr. Who. You have to get used to it at first because it is scifi, but I really like it .

People say Twin Peaks was good. Just started watching it. David Lynch had a hand in it & it has his stamp on it, with the pilot anyway which I'm watching now, so if you don't like his work you prob won't like it.

I also liked Arrested Development.

You never heard of Doctor Who?!

It's the longest running Sci/Fi show in existence. But unless you want incredible boredom... I'd suggest starting here: http://instantwatcher.com/titles/166627

It ran from 1963-1989, had a movie or two in between then... but the link I gave you is when they brought it back in 2005. It's rather newbie friendly if you understand he's a time traveling alien. The new show ran for four seasons then had four mini shows and came back for more seasons. Be careful, on Netflix they list the mini shows separately and don't give you any indication of what order they go in.

It's:
Planet of the Dead
Waters of Mars
and
End of Time pt 1 & 2

If you enjoy it, they did a spin off called Torchwood: http://instantwatcher.com/titles/166227

Which is 2 seasons and a mini series called
Children of Earth

Torchwood was canceled but then picked up in the US where they made another mini series which was SOOOOO incredibly excellent called
Miracle Day

-The tag line from Miracle Day from the main character is probably my favorite villain line in the world. It epitomizes evil to such a bone chilling degree. When asking a guy on death row why he sexually assaulted and killed a little girl... his answer, "She didn't run fast enough."

Also, if you're looking to search for your own tv shows/movies I'd suggest checking out: http://instantwatcher.com

I freaking love the site. You don't get the personalized responses like you do on forums, but it's still pretty helpful.

A couple of weeks ago I was staying with friends who have Netflix. I wasted an entire day watching the first season of Arrested Development.

I found Brothers and Sisters, on the Soap channel the other night, flicking through the channels. He is good-looking. I'd totally forgotten about him.

I think Gordon Ramsey is amazing, and so much nicer/less unhinged on the UK versions of his shows, like Kitchen Nightmares. Americans pay to see over-the-top meltdowns more than real quality programming, so most misjudge this good-hearted guy.

Yes, I noticed that too, VAA. He could pass for a sweetheart if you never saw "Hell's Kitchen."

Okay, so I watched a few episodes of Doctor Who. I love the idea of the show but it was a bit corny at first. I gave it a chance and it sorta grew on me. Now I'm on the 2nd season. I finally start liking the main character, the ideas, people, then some new dude shows up. Okay, What season does it get really good? I feel like Im not even paying attention anymore.

Has anyone mentioned "Lie to Me" with Tim Roth?
That's a good one, especially if you have Scorpio prominate in your chart.
