I was posting -this- as the thread was closed.. and I don't like the feeling of being silenced, just as I'm about to say something.. so I have to post it.

Lonake has always been helpful to people here. Whenever a thread is posted she has given *advice*. She has not been patronising. As I said - her style is to the *point*. This is just the way she expresses things. If you genuinely cannot change your behaviour or get along.. then it's true that - you can always *ignore*.
I do personally think it would benefit you to get something out of this online situation...
NOT being able to FIX things after an argument and not being able to put these differences to rest - is a problem.
The ability to get along with others (regardless of personality clashes) is an important skill, and being an Aquarius I am sure you would agree with me.

WELL SAID Betty! I will add that I had the same reaction to Aquacheeka but I ignored so Lonake was not imaging it. Anyway, this thread will get closed if we re-start the thing. I just want Lonake to know that I experienced the same thing but it did not blow up, as I walked away BUT I still experienced it!------------------

Since you feel that she doesn't try to incite I will direct you to the Cancer thread for one, KKK members. There was another point on the good or bad thread that she tried again, but it was dismissed by all, as in ignored. When I see it again I will call her on it. These are some of the 'troll mannerisms' that I've seen from her. So that needs to be controlled as well as she's stated she likes being provocative.IP: Logged |

Anyway, Aquacheeka can take something from this as we---Betty, Lonake and I -- all agree--basically!! So, Aquacheeka, try to have self reflection. If you do, you will have learned something. That is a good thing, not a bad thing!------------------

That is an actual study though. I edited the message later as I said I would and I fully intend to post it when it's available. If you guys give me a day I will give the university and the department the study is taking place at. If you guys would prefer I refrain from talking about controversial astrological studies, I will do so.
I noticed on the last thread that Saint Lonake just HAD to get in one more potshot aimed at me. Yes, that is definitely the behaviour of a victim.

I stated later in the message - edit: This is neither the time nor the place for this as it's a thread meant to uplift Cancerians so upon further reflection I will delete this and post the study when it's available.
I actually posted the info in response to Lonake's assertion that Cancer has the potential to be racist due to its love of kin. It jogged my memory. It was one of few times I agreed with her. I should have anticipated future judgment/self-exemption though, given who it is.

STOP THE CRAP-----Aquacheeka. We stand by Lonake. Betty and I have known her for 3 years. No one is gonna turn against her. We SEE Lonake and we know Lonake. I have seen you and you cause trouble! I think this thread should be closed as you won't stop your crap!

No, there doesn't. This thread exists solely to gang up on me and if I say anything in response to defend myself it just makes me guiltier, in your eyes. I am supposed to just "take your advice" and "reflect" while you will make excuses for everything Lonake has done. I can post the link to the thread and show that my reference to the KKK study WAS IN DIRECT REPLY TO LONAKE'S POST. This kind of bullying is unbecoming of admins and decent human beings. I won't say Aquacheeka is a saint, and she does tend to get lost in her feelings, but I don't see her as a troll (which I define as an attention seeker). The way I see it, some took what she said the wrong way (granted, she could be more diplomatic about expressing herself) and lashed out at her, thus provoking her further. In any case I've noticed that she doesn't lash out at me, but then when I disagree with her I don't confront her or pop an attitude (of course she can get confrontational herself but I suppose my years living with an "Aries deluxe" taught me how to shrug a little attitude off  ). Too bad about that thread on are people good or bad or not got locked as I'd have liked to have responded (in a non confrontational manner).  IP: Logged |

Sheesh, I just wandered in and saw all this. Not really my business but I want to make a comment anyway.I like all of you.  Lonake, I like you, but I observe you instigating arguments (deliberately or just by being insensitive, as when you called sun-square-Pluto people stalkers) and you get off scott-free too often. That's annoying. People shouldn't be able to mouth off just because they have seniority. Other than that I appreciate your input. No more comments from me since I can raise hell pretty fast myself. The study is fine. I liked the # of people they used, and it's interesting, altho it is quite limited as it just utilized the Sun sign to the exclusion of the rest of the chart. The fact that there is research on a wide scale is a good thing, ultimately. *But* I noticed some wording in there that was added to incite, but no one took the bait.Honestly, I don't comment much on the first thing, or the 2nd, unless it's really --out there--, because it could just be the person having a bad day, or needing to blow off steam, who cares. It's not that she is a saint. It;s just that everyone else gets along with her.Out of 10 random Cancer people... How many do you think would take offence to this? "Cancer has the potential to be racist due to its love of kin." Again - she said POTENTIAL.
Not that they *will* be racist. For crying out loud everyone knows the Dalai Lama is a Cancer.
This was not meant as a statement about *all* the Cancers of the world.
Cancer is a sign that rules *close family* and those friends who become a part of family. So it is perfectly acceptable to say that this could make Cancer more predisposed to fearing the "unknown".. and perhaps being racist or discriminative towards those people who are not *close* .. who do not feel *safe* like family... because these people are perceived as different, in virtue of being from different cultures. Yes, I understand and I'm not judging given the fact that I then posted information about an ongoing study involving the KKK. Fwiw Cancer was not the sign most prevalently found and that was stated in the post. I tried to put it as diplomatically as I possibly could but given the fact that the content itself is a little inflammatory and it was the wrong forum for it, I ultimately removed the post. How can you say this was meant to incite?
It seems your sole purpose tonight is in defending everything Lonake has ever done even if it gets to the point of irrational bullying.
