Hello all!I'm enjoying musical threads a lot and I think I've derailed PBB's thread in Astro 2 enough so I decided to do another one. Post the daily song that you enjoyed the most or that influenced your mood the most! My song for today: Tina Turner - I don't wanna lose you Heard it on the radio, in my car on the way to the hospital, old time favorite of mine, I love Tina! Quite a nice way to start the day! I sang it out loud too! hehe Have been listening to a lot of older music in the last few months, which is a bit unusual since I've always been more of a techno/house enthusiast. Can't wait to hear your songs of the day!!
quote: I know I've only just met you Maybe I should know better But when you look at me that way There's something inside, that's so right

The song I have been haunted by, a few months ago, and now it is back again. Have been waking up with it two days in a row (different times of getting up). Just not yesterday. Instead I was uncharacteristically turning on my radio last night going to sleep, and the same song came up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0Fz_egtEgc
I often have the feeling certain music oir even TV is "talking" to me.
For some reason these lines stood out to me: " So many times it happens too fast You change your passion for glory Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past You must fight just to keep them alive "

Go Venus go!!!! Sing, girl! lol I love to sing especially in my car, with all windows shut but I sing with every lung cell I've got haha. If feels so damn good!!! Shower is good place too for me. Ohhh and a Queen fan! "Show must go on" has been there for me through my last 3 break-ups, Freddie was so awesome, such a genius! I listened to Bohemian rhapsody for like 2 weeks on repeat, on and on and on, and I was still in awe at his musical genius. Man, that's just amazing. No words. Bless all the people that caress our soul with good music! My song of the day - Madonna - Take a bow

Hey Venus, what do you think Freddie's rising might be?? I get a very strong Sag vibe from him, though that might be his Moon. Sag Moon would fit him no? Most likely it conjuncts mine! IP: Logged |

Seems I tend to do that. Another friend complains I gave her the ear worm with "Eye of the tiger". Now I sometimes bring it up to tease her and it always works. hera, yes, I def. can relate to that stanza. And I thought it was such a funny scene. I nearly choke on my coke when seeing it on TV. It was supposed to be a horror-series! But I find it to be so hilarious at times. lol IP: Logged |

Maybe it's because the song resembles your signature so much. Ever felt like this? (lyrics too..) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPU9az11si0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzUU7SRRsGo im not a big fan of Wayne's World but the scene of them rocking to Queen is somthing i can relate to, look at 1:45 in the youtube vid above its awesome x_x i think he was a virgo rising, i doubt he has a fire rising cause although he seems very flamboyant he was actualy VERY shy off stage he hated interviews very few public appearances his whole life was a mystery but no doubt he was a sweet guy, everyone loved him even his ex-wife, whom he divorced after coming out, was by his side when he passed away.. i dunno if u kno he died from AIDS ** just read somewhere he's a leo rising, but im not sure bout that also read in other places that he's an early cap moon not sag.. but im leaning towards late sag moon and virgo rising

I know about his life story, perhaps not all the details but my dad (who was a singer in his wild days) was a huge fan of his and had like videos of all their concerts and songs and Queen rocking in our house was normal atmosphere. I was thinking something mutable too for his Asc. I know he was a very shy and private person but his stage persona had to come from somewhere in his chart. Actors draw their characters from somewhere in their charts too. So the fire *should* be there, IMO. Might not be Fire rising, maybe something more subtle like his Moon, maybe he's Cap Asc with Sat in Leo or has Sun or Mars in 1st. I dunno. I guess we'll never know for sure. IP: Logged |
