No, but I had an odd experience that I think is related to ghosts (but not the same thing). I (age 15) and some other runaways broke into an abandoned hotel and ended up sleeping in one of the rooms. I and a couple of others kept waking up from horrible dreams of a crying, pleading woman, and in my case she was trying to grab my hands but was insubstantial so her hands passed through mine and I was unable to help her or give her comfort. The nightmares were so vivid and bad for those of us having them that we refused to sleep in that room (and everyone else followed us). A guy did some research for us and found that shortly before the hotel shut down that a woman had been murdered by a serial killer in the same room that gave us the nightmares. My impression was that it wasn't a ghost but more of a psychic imprint of a woman dying in terror. IP: Logged |

There's a book with all the spooky places near where I live. My ex best friend and I went before and we dressed in all black and cruised them. Scared the **** out of ourselves but that was pretty much it ^^^ like 3 years ago IP: Logged |

I would like to spend the night in a haunted house.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

My Libra buddy and I used to look at haunted place in the Greater Toronto Area. Then we visited this one place and I started receiving a string of bad luck, so we stopped. --------------------------------------- Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun, 5th House Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini Venus In Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

I was the one mostly having the experiences, i guess kids are more sensitive to this type of thing. Anyways from the time we moved in I was terrified of my bedroom but didn't know why, I maybe slept in there twice the whole time we lived there. So I usually slept in my brothers room in the floor, we were right next to moms room, a lot of night I would hear footsteps coming up the hallway towards my brothers. room, and my brother would be asleep. and the door connecting our room with. moms bedroom was open and I could. hear her snoring, but I heard those. heavy footsteps almost everynight and. you know that feeling you get that. something is watching you, that was. common.and in the living room you. would feel a rush of air go past you and. suddenly it would get cold, very very cold. And the creepiest part was the piano one day played by itself in broad daylight as I was watching cartoons, not making that up! And I only saw the apparition once when I was taking a bath, the bathroom door was open and I looked up and saw a shadowy figure in the doorway looking at me and it reached out its hand as if to grab me, I was paralyzed with fear for a minute or so, and I closed my eyes screamed like a girl and ran out of the tub soaking wet and naked as a jaybird . My family always told me I was imagining things while we lived there, but when we moved out mom admitted to being creeped out by the house, and told me the lady who rented us the house warned it was haunted, and my sister and brother in law had experiences when they came to visit. WOW, that all sounds freaky, especially the piano and the shadow reaching for you in the bathtub, YIKES. I've had some freaky stuff happen to me, I won't get into it all, but footsteps are a common theme, and lights turning on by themselves. Only time I MIGHT have seen a ghost, I was in Gettysburg (extremely creepy town.) It was 4 a.m., I was in my boyfriend's apartment after he had just thrown a party, and we were still up in the living room. This apartment had a reputation for being haunted...we were friends with the previous tenants who told us stories. Anyway I was in the living room staring into the dark kitchen when what looked like a ghost head popped into the kitchen from the adjoining hallway, then the whole ghost body crossed in front of the door into the kitchen. The shape was like a woman in a bonnet and long dress. Our friends who lived there before had occasionally been woken up by loud pounding on the walls and floor coming from nothing they could see.
