Still here... (and so it seems are the rest of us in the eastern US) And, to answer Juni's original question, I did not prepare... If the world were truly ending, it wouldn't have mattered anyway! IP: Logged |

On a more serious note, I like the idea of a world-wide awakening on this day!! I got invited to "A Day of Love & Peace" event on FB - lovely idea! IP: Logged |

Are we in the clear or am I just late (as usual) trying to catch up with the end of time? .
. ------------------ ~ I have a DO NOT DISTURB sign on my imagination ... because I want to frustrate the twins ... Convention and Dogma ~ The moment I cease to seek the truth, or settle for the truth in the moment ... that is the moment I cease to be a seeker, and become a fundamentalist instead. ~ The truest acts of charity are never disclosed ... they remain a secret between Man, the doer and God. Because Man knows that each charitable act is an opportunity for him to revel in God just as God avails of His chance to revel in Man through every act of charity. For them both to continue to rejoice in each other, Man knows he cannot allow worldly accolades to distract him. So he continues to act in kindness ... secretly. ~ moi ~ IP: Logged |

Wholly smokes! the midwest spent an interesting solstice *12-21-12* with a blizzard grounding technology (locally anyhow). It started Thursday night and the world went dark around yes, you guessed it, 6:15 a.m. Friday. In the light of the doomsdayers, I found it mysteriously refreshing as old man winter brought in his Time. The silence, darkness ,contemplation and power of the Solstice; renews the soul! Merry Christmas and a Blessed Solstice. ------------------ We need to listen to our own song, and share it with others, but not force it on them. Our songs are different. They should be in harmony with each other. ~ Mattie Stepanek IP: Logged |

Winter Solstice and longest night of the year was the 21st. Just took it easy, enjoying sound of the storm, drinking hot cocoa/coffee with cookies. Snuggling my precious cat and watching Netflix with my husband. Looking forward to more daylight!------------------ NumeroLexigrams ~I remember, therefore I am immortal ~Lexxigramer My Lexigramming Biography IP: Logged |
