Wholly smokes! the midwest spent an interesting solstice *12-21-12* with a blizzard grounding technology (locally anyhow). It started Thursday night and the world went dark around yes, you guessed it, 6:15 a.m. Friday. In the light of the doomsdayers, I found it mysteriously refreshing as old man winter brought in his Time.

Winter Solstice and longest night of the year was the 21st.
Just took it easy, enjoying sound of the storm, drinking hot cocoa/coffee with cookies.
Snuggling my precious cat and watching Netflix with my husband.
Looking forward to more daylight!------------------
