The first season set a new precedent by proving that the zombie genre doesn't have to be campy. There are zero laughs in this show. It was expected to be so good that it was signed for two seasons in advance. But it exceeded all expectations. Then, as great as the first season was, season 2 blew it out of the water! I met the cast in Atlanta last month, and they said that this season will be way better than season 2! Does anyone remember on the bus when Rick took a knife with zombie juice on it and cut his hand to smear blood on the door to distract the walkers? I thought that was a blooper, because why would Rich do that and risk turning? But now we know that Rick was already aware of the fact that they are all infected. That's who zombie spit or blood or guts really don't matter. What great writing! And the guy who got bit and had a fever and started to die...well, the rotting flesh infects the blood and that poison kills the person, so bites are lethal. Upon death, the virus reactivates the barest primal functions and motor cortex of the brain. Can't wait till Sunday? I don't like the gore. Really like Michonne, though, and I liked the opening scene - no dialogue, their just doing what they've become accustomed to doing.IP: Logged |

Really good episode. I like the ending with the prisoners. So far so good. Hopefully it'll continue to be as good and interesting as Season 1. ------------------ "You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. Season 3 looks like it's going to be beyond epic. Episode 1 alone nearly gave me a heart attack.IP: Logged |

I'm annoyed by Andrea being so easily swayed by him, and not trusting her friend's instincts. I expected the bit with the soldiers, and wonder what's up with the tea? Why does he need that scientist's tea? It seems like he's killing off anyone who could threaten his being in power. I also wonder what happened to his wife and daughter. IP: Logged |

Andrea is just being a female. He's the alpha dog, so there is an attraction for her. She did it with Shane. She likes bad boys. And crazies.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Michonne is a woman, too, though. I don't think it's a natural reaction for every woman. IP: Logged |

Not sure. But they are main characters. They said that these people sacrifice themselves for others and that we should have tissue handy. IP: Logged |

I think that his wife died early in the comics, but I don't remember how. I don't want any of them to die.. it's one thing when they're advancing a story, but if they're just going for shock value, it gets old. We lost Shane and Dale late last season, Herschel's injured. They finally gave T-Dog some lines, and Carol is showing more confidence, and she's the only older woman on the show. Carl is more helpful, although still a careless kid in ways... IP: Logged |

But I do think she is vital to the story on the tv show. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |
