Late Autums brings Thanksgiving and families gather to give Thanks for life`s gifts and Blessings.

Do you have something in particular you are thankful for?

I am thankful for special friendships made here, my beloved family, the continued health of my four legged Friend Thunderbird, medications, and the freedoms we have in this country .

Great thread!

I'm thankful to God for allowing me to feel His continued presence in my life. From Him flows all.

For being able to realize that i do have many things to be thankful for (some people forget that) even when i don't feel or see it that way. ...for being able to always find a bright side to things even when they are dark. For being able to kick myself in the ass and chin up. For being my own best friend.

For knowing and remembering that things could always be worse, have been worse, might get worse... but that is life and there is always the opposite....things could always get better and this life won't be forever.

For no longer feeling extremely thankful, or unthankful for unimportant things. And instead, just accepting the moment how it is. For detachment and acceptance.

I'm trying to get to where T. is. I can be grateful for all sorts of little things, but I'm not so good with acceptance anymore.

My husband who is still my best friend despite our problems.
My son and his achievements!
My adorable grandson!
That despite my being disabled;
(like being mostly bed bound for almost the past year, and several folks thinking I should just kill myself)
there is still much to be thankful for!
Count your blessings folks!

Yes nice thread indeed, I am thankful for my health, my loving husband who understands me like no else, my artistic abilities that also extend to cooking, my future family that will happen next year, and for a wonderful site such as LL

Too many things...

And here's a YT vid about 2 minutes about the power of words...and how easy it is to take things for granted...
